It was cozy and clean. Enjoyed our stay. WiFi was good and check in was easy. The only downsides were the one dedicated parking space (the photos are not accurate, it's tricky and parallel) and the list of clean up chores on top of the cleaning fee.

We’re in the process of updating the photos - we added the parking space after we started renting our little house, but we realize that larger vehicles will still need to park on the street, like most of Galveston. Cutest little Beach house

Loved the homelike atmosphere and artsy decor. Perfect for a small family get away or quick trip to Galveston. Needed a late check out due to a soccer tournament and the host got back to my text late at night. It was gratefully appreciated. It was even home to an adorable squirrel eating peaches from the neighbors tree!

Not worth the headache

We got there at 5 pm, check in is at 4. People still cleaning house, I called the co fact and they said they would find out how much longer they had to finish and they never called me back. They never offered us a discount. Plus check out is earlyIt’s at 10am and they still did not have place clean. Also getting into the house was hard the lock box was not easy and again the co tact person did not know how to troubleshoot. So many options in Galveston , I would not go back.

We've followed up with the homeowner, and they would like to share the following:- We were informed that housekeeping missed your check-in and apologized for the mix-up. They also shared that there was a brief issue with the lockbox and communication.- The lockbox has not posed issues for guests before or after your stay, but we understand how frustrating it can be when things don’t go as expected.- We didn’t hear from you during your stay, but we would’ve been more than happy to assist if we had known you were having trouble.Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests and provide the 5-star experience we’re known for!

Cute, clean, and off the main drag just enough

Let me tell you a story. This place is amazing. They have a large kitchen and dining area. An outside grill, a big fridge with an ice maker in the freezer, toaster, airfryer, garbage disposal, dishwasher, coffee maker, washer and dryer...I do wish i could have found a little vacuum for sand but we made do.The couch is L shaped for lounging was a heaven send the little faux fireplace is a great touch and added a nice ambiance. Incredible for when we needed just a touch of heat or for drying shoes. The bed is FIRM, full on papa bear firm, i thought it was plywood at first. I have some mobility and back issues and was more comfortable on the couch at times but surprisingly I didn't wake up with back pain. Plenty of room for clothes in the bedroom. Bathroom has a large shower with bench, if you need assistance showering it would work, there is a small ledge to step into shower. The bathroom is conveniently spacious and allows for two people to maneuver. As stated in the description there are 5 steps to get into the house, and a few to get into the back terrace that has lounging chairs and a sunshade. However, it being hurricane territory you're hard pressed to find anything that doesn't have stairs. It's about 15 minutes to walk to the seawall, just far enough off the main road to avoid traffic and people for a quiet stay, and easily accessible if you want to get into town. One parking spot for a small suv or sedan.
