I have been using the Meriton at Bondi Junction since it was established, and have generally been quite satisfied.
On the weekend of 14/15 Feb this year, I shared a 3-bedroom suite with my daughter and granddaughter.
About 8pm we realised that the TV was tuned to the Chinese (I think) language and we were not able to change it.
Both my daughter and granddaughter work in IT, so it was not just the silly old lady who was incompetant.
We rang for assistance and waited half an hour before ringing again. Someone came and got the TV to English. Then we weren't able to access Netflix but settled for free to air.
At 11.10pm, when I was the only one still up, there was a knock at the door - it was a man to check on the TV!!!
The next morning before my daughter and granddaughter went our my daughter told me that the drain in the bath wasn't working properly. I told reception and they said someone would come. Someone did come about 2.30pm and said she had obviously trodden on the plug. I couldn't dispute that because I did not know. She hadn't.
The next morning the bath and the basin were not draining properly. By that stage I was beyond caring because we were checking out.
On the whole, our experience at the Meridian Bondi Junction this time was pretty disappointing.
