Lovely place on the east side of Gili Air. The villas are clean and spacious, and perfect for families traveling with children. Rent a mask and you can go snorkeling right on the beach in front of the hotel. Highly recommended.

Love

Amazing people with alot of love to the guests and the animals wich were roaming freely around the compound made our hearts melt. Really quiet during the night. Beautiful place to be at. The beach in front of the reception/dragon bar is a perfect spot to snorkel with turtels <3 And their Nasi goreng for breakfast was really tasty.

Amazing stay at Bulan Madu.

Had an amazing stay at Bulan Madu. Enjoyed every minute of it. Stayed for one week. Gili Air is a fantastic place, and staying at Bulan Madu made it even better. Staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived and all throughout our stay. Breakfast is great too. The villas are spacious, comfortable and clean. Snorkeling in the most beautiful turquoise water is just a few steps away. Saw turtles almost every day. Warmest recommendations. Would really love to come back again.

We rented a 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom villa for a family of 6 traveling together. The villas were not next to each other so inconvenient to be together. The property is older and in average condition. Villas were very dark inside. Staff was awesome, one young man was extremely helpful and really made our stay more pleasant! Breakfast was good. There is great snorkeling just south and north of their beachside location. And there is a a great seafood/fresh fish restaurant “Unzipped” and an excellent Taqueria close by.

Vi hade en helt fantastiskt vecka! En liten resort med bara fem villor, vilket gjorde det väldigt personligt. Personalen var mycket vänlig och gjorde sitt yttersta för att vi skulle trivas. Rummet och omgivningarna städades varje dag, ibland flera gånger om dagen. Bra läge vid stranden med fina rev för snorkling, vi såg sköldpaddor i stort sett varje dag. Flera restauranger precis utanför hotellet. Rekommenderar att hyra cyklar för att utforska ön, blev överraskad över hur mycket den lilla ön har att erbjuda!

I loved the atmosphere of the accommodation the most. The staff was absolutely wonderful. The owner of the place is lucky to have these staff members. They made our stay very much more pleasant. However, the Villa does need some maintenance. A simple couple of adjustments, and it would be much better. Like the quality of the internet, the waterpressure in the shower which was afwul. The pathway to the Villa is really nice, but not practical if you have a trolley. The boys carried our trolleys. I still would recommend to stay at this Villa because the atmosphere was relaxing and we really rested there. That means a lot to us.

A very poor experience. First off: the personnel did the best they could. But the room was very dark, not very clean, and quite infested with mosquito's. The absolute worst thing: the door to the outside shower/bathroom could not be locked from the inside and we had a burglar. How is it possible to not have secure doors? We simply left the next day.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful, clean, the staff is kind and the owner, Stephan, is awesome! The pool area is quite nice as well, and there is a diving school practically inside the hotel, which is quite convenient.

The villas were set back from the restaurant, road and beach which made them quiet and peaceful. The villa was spacious with a large covered outdoor area at the front. Snorkeling off the beach in front of the bar/restaurant was the highlight. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the owner, Stefan, treated us like family. We hope to get back here as we enjoyed our 5 days so much.

Excellent séjour dans à la Villa Bulan Madu. Notre bungalow était immense, très joliment décoré, d'une propreté irréprochable, avec une salle de bain très agréable en plein air. Les lits sont très confortables et le petit déjeuner très bon. Le personnel était aux petits soins pour nous et nos enfants. Ce qui est dommage est que le décor du bar n'est pas très engageant donc peu de personnes s'arrêtent pour y boire un verre ou déjeuner. Nous avons beaucoup profité de la piscine avec les enfants qui étaient ravis.

La villa es espectacular, y la situación del hotel es increible, centro de todo y con ambiente, te dan de comer a cualquier hora, puedes hacer reserva para hacer snorkel y nadar con torturgas al lado del hotel, Puedes alquilar bicis al lado del hotel y hay un restaurante a tres minutos del hotel que puedes cenar pescadito a la brasa y con musica en directo. En general, el Staff muy servicial y con buenas sonrisas. Yo volvería de nuevo, ha sido espectacular, ver los atardeceres, desayunar enfrente del mar. Increible.

Sødt men komplet udueligt personale. Ingen rengøring, ingen tømning af skraldespande (meget ulækkert). Intet varmt vand. Wi-fi duede ikke. Servering af morgenmad helt ustruktureret og tog typisk en time. Aggressive gæs mellem værelserne og restauranten. Vilde katte over alt - også på bordene i restauranten.

This villa was a real villa, not a bungalow like in many places on the island. And the large own garden made it feel like a private house. Run by a German couple the standards and details in the house and generally lift the stay from very good to excellent. Staff is super-friendly. The only improvement we could imagine was the wi-fi signal to be strenghtened. In general, the pictures didn´t reviel the best of this peaceful and tasteful accomondation. Highly recommended!
