I like how they have a Face ID scanner and not everyone can come in. It was my second time staying in this place and I love it.

It was an easy check-in and out process with automated facial recognition and passcode system. It was difficult to drop off the bags before the check-in and communication around it (between WhatsApp and actual human being at the front desk) was not organized well. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable stay.

Comfortable place!
The place is located in a very quiet area, very comfortable and nice. The only thing was that I had problems with access to the building at night, since the door only opened with facial recognition, which never worked for me, so I had to call every time and go through a series of security questions every time I entered at night. You can also listen the conversations from the apartments next door.

Can't recommend
First, they will eat your brain with a teaspoon making you provide all the documents for all the guests, then they will flood your email and messenger with notifications and reminders about the documents (that were uploaded already). At the check-in day and time, you'll find out that your face couldn't be recognized by the scanner (good for you to have both guests registered, so maybe that's the point). And after that, you'll find stains on the towels and mold on the walls in the shower.
Ah! And the construction site right next to the building will start working at 7.30 am on Saturday

It wasn't great. There is no one there to assist you. Everything is AI. There is a Whatsapp number, but the agents will just not respond. I booked two rooms for nine nights. I am glad I booked two rooms, as the shower in one room was freezing cold. I reported the issue, which they never fixed. I went to the other room to shower. They advertise daily cleaning. Both rooms were only cleaned twice in nine days. We had to take out our own trash and ask repeatedly for fresh towels. There are roaches in the rooms. The building caught fire twice during our stay and we had to evacuate. Everyone left their rooms confused and went outside until the alarms stopped. The hallways are dark and the whole decor is offputting. The area is not great either.

The check-in online process was a mess to get through, and even though we liked the property we’d probably avoid it in future because of that. The face recognition to enter the building felt invasive and often didn’t work. There’s no key to the rooms - it’s a long code that must be entered each time. Even to use the washer one had to download an app. Put simply, too much unnecessary tech.
Rooms are small -double beds only but the tiny kitchenette was appreciated. Could use a tea towel in the kitchen. No facial tissues.

Já me hospedei no Charlie antes, e o check-in online sempre acaba sendo um pouco desconfortável, pois não há ninguém na recepção para auxiliar. No entanto, o mais inconveniente desta estadia foi a ausência do controle do ar-condicionado. Precisei ligá-lo manualmente para não passar calor, o que tornou a experiência menos prazerosa.
