Dit strandhuis biedt een leuk uitje in een rustige buurt van Kill Devil Hills. Het is 2 minuten lopen naar de Bay Drive, geluidswandel- en fietspad. Er is een wandeling van 5 minuten naar de geluidspier van Hayman Boulevard waar de best denkbare zonsondergangen te zien zijn. Het geluid is te zien vanaf de veranda van het huis. Het is een zeer korte rit naar een van de vele openbare toegangen tot het strand om te genieten van een duik in de oceaan.
Het huis bevat nieuwe upgrades van een recente verbouwing, waaronder werkbladen, sanitair, schilderen en alle nieuwe meubels. Er is een queensize bed, groot bed en 2 aparte stapelbedden voor kinderen.
Dit huis is geweldig voor een gezamenlijke familievakantie om te genieten van de prachtige Outer Banks.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! The house was extremely clean and featured some great amenities that made the stay comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful and we enjoyed being so close to the beach. We are a family of 5 and brought our dog which was so nice! The house was spacious and the furniture was comfortable. Would absolutely recommend!

A decent stay

Overall, I really want to emphasize that the host, Daniel, was extremely accommodating and communicative. He deserves 11/10 for being a great host. I did find the property a bit underwhelming… it was one of the more expensive places I have ever paid for on Vrbo and I’m hoping the price was a reflection of the busy tourist season. I did not feel that the property was a good value for the rate. It could use some updates and a couple more amenities. The TVs did not have streaming capabilities, there is no grill, there is older carpet throughout and the bed was pretty uncomfortable. These are very easy fixes and there were also plenty of positives. We loved the location, that it was pet friendly and that the basic comforts of home were available. With a little tlc, it would be well worth the price. Also probably more ideal if you’re splitting the cost between 2 couples or something like that. It did appear as pictured, so there were no unexpected surprises. We had some bad weather, so couldn’t get out as much and I know most people would come to this area to mostly get out and do things and not worry about where they’re staying. It was a solid place to stay and I wish it met the expectations I had based on the great host.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Cute, cozy beach cottage. Located on a quiet street, close to Bay Drive for the XC runners :) Straight shot to the beach, close to restaurants and shopping. The girls had a great time! Thank you.

Great location and quiet neighborhood

The property was wonderful for a family. There was plenty of room to spread out or spend time together. We were able to walk to the beach on the 4th of July and avoid getting caught up in traffic. The outside shower was great after the beach. The property owner checked on us after check in to make sure that everything was as expected.

First time using Vrbo

Great first time using Vrbo. Excellent communication with Daniel before, during and after our visit! The house made us feel like home away from home. The kids (4 teenagers) loved having space to relax and chill after the beach. We loved walking the short distance to the bay to watch the sunset. It's close to the beach, shopping, lighthouses and great places to eat local cuisine! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends that plan an Obx vacation!

Excellent Location

We had a great week staying at this home. The location near the sound was near a bike path and a quick walk to some beautiful sunsets. The home was clean and just as described. The communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Great beach house in a great location

We stayed in Daniel’s beach house for a long weekend. We originally had it booked the week before but due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change dates and Daniel was very flexible with it. The house was clean, well-stocked and well-organized. Loved the location. It was walking distance to the sound and just a quarter mile drive to the public beach access. It was close to stores and restaurants. I went out for a run and the multi path trail has a great view of the sound. Would love to come back next summer!

Nice house for family vacation

We stayed 4 nights at this OBX home. Spoke with owner Daniel on the phone before check in and he was very easy going and helpful. The house is a simple 3 bed 2 bath home that is furnished with the necessities. It fit our needs for our family of six. Only drawback is crossing over the highway to get to the beach. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Quick getaway

This property was so nice and just what we needed for our short getaway. Daniel was so nice and very helpful when it came to the check in and check out process. He reached out before our stay and it made the whole experience more personal. It being a pet friendly home made it even better! The couches are super comfy and was a very nice way to relax after coming back from the beach. It is also a short walk from the sound side and the sunsets are beautiful!

Third Time's the Charm, just like the First and Second!

This is our third year staying at Daniel's property for our annual Outer Banks trip. A group of us have been getting together for 10 years now, and this has consistently been one of our favorite places to stay. Daniel is a great host. He is always responsive to our questions and concerns, and he goes out of his way to make sure we have a comfortable stay. The property is well-maintained and has all the amenities we need, including a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a spacious living room. We love that the property feels like a home away from home. It is spacious enough for our group, but it is still cozy and inviting. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming, and we have made some great memories on the beach and in the neighborhood. This property is conveniently located near the Bay, KDH Beach parking, restaurants, and other activities. We can walk to the beach in just a few minutes, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay in the Outer Banks. You won't regret it! Thank you, Daniel, for providing us with such a wonderful place to stay, again and again!

Beach vacation

Great little house for a quick stay at the beach. The sound was really beautiful. Too far to walk to ocean side, but if you left early enough in the morning you could find public parking for beach access. It was nice having a grill for dinner!

Won’t let a little drizzle rain on our parade

Lovely little beach house! Very clean and actually very spacious in the common area. It rained 4/6 days we were there, so we stayed inside more than anticipated, but none the less we had a very relaxing vacation. Also, the owner was very friendly and answered any questions we had!
