Absolutely great place for a getaway. Plenty of hiking nearby. Very walkable to the local clubhouse (food and bar). 20 minutes from Brodheadsville and Jim Thorpe. Highly recommended.

Great location! Loved being able to walk to the beach. Plenty of amenities in the house. Loved the hot tub! Enjoyed coffee on the porch and sitting outside in the evenings. Will definitely be back.

This was a great place to stay for our family trip! The house was clean and peaceful, and was perfect for what we were looking for. It was only a minute walk to the playground, beach and pool. The kids keep asking when we will be going again. )

The house is wonderful. From the front porch every morning with coffee, was the gorgeous scenery of the lake & if you hear footsteps, look for the deer, not a person. I am sure in the summer. It is a wonderful place to be, there are a lot of amenities. The host was incredibly responsive any question I may have had was responded within minutes.As a suggestion, if you come at dusk, the bears in the yard next door are not real. There are a lot of things to do in the surrounding areas. And if you're ever coming up during October, this was a perfect place to see the color change. I would absolutely come back to this house again.

Clean house, hot tub was nice and relaxing, lots of space and room to relax and enjoy. Even with it being overcast weather we still found lots to do. Went to camelback tubing, blue ridge winery, and some good food. Fully enjoyed it and the house worked perfectly for what we were looking for!

Great location for hiking

Beautiful space with plenty of sleeping areas. Home was well stocked. Hot tub was amazing and communication was quick and responsive. Thank you for sharing your home with us for a friends getaway.

The house small and nice, enough for my husband and I. We woke up to snow the morning we left. The only downfall was that it’s a pet friendly house and there was dog urine right at the steps and on the deck. We cleared it so the next renters wouldn’t have to step in it and track it into the house.

House was clean and very organized. The hot tub was amazing for me and my wife. Didn't have a problem with it at all. Made use of the grill and enjoyed the peaceful nights! Highly recommend stargazing outside at night!

Just a couple things, I usually expect VRBO to be relatively clean, at the very least, cleaner than my lived in home, and while it was fine and there weren't any major issue, seeing them he mold in the bathroom definitely wasn't the nicest site, both in the shower as well as surrounding the sink faucet

Romantic getaway

Hot tub was lovely.. lid removal was a tad annoying with low roof line but we were happy to relax in it! (You need two people to remove/put back on) Beds are in need of an update as is the couch that you just sink in New cooking sheets is in dire need.. thankfully there was a glass pan The house was great for our two night escape!

Thank you for staying with us. There are instructions on how to take the lid off easily. The ceiling is low, the price we pay to have the tub enclosed rather out in the weather. I was just informed recently about the master bedroom mattress having a dip in the middle. It is being replaced on 1/14/22 with new Serta pillow top mattress. As for the Sofa Bed I am aware of sinking and have been trying to replace for months but everything gets back ordered with the shortage. I hope to get new sofa/couch this month. I did buy new baking sheets just this past summer not sure what happens to them. Sorry for your inconvenience, if you decide to return everything should be updated excluding the hot tub roof.

Amazing

First time renting a lake house and it was perfect. It was my boyfriend's 30th birthday and he just wanted to get away from the city life. Mary was beyond helpful with everything and she answers right away when you leave a message. Thank you for the experience, the house is BEAUTIFUL. Will definitely rent it again.

For the most part the unit was satisfactory. There were a few negatives that stood out. While the driveyway was plowed, the mound at the end was not, i don't think i would have made it in without a 4wheel drive vehicle. The couch was very uncomfortable and the bed in the downstairs bedroom needed to be replaced or at the very least needed a mattress topper. The unit itself was clean and had all the necessities. The hot tub being inside a covered and enclosed patio was a definite plus as were the bunkbeds. While the unit can techincally sleep ten, it would be tight. Its a good fit for a family of 4.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was smaller than we assumed from the pictures, but that didn't really bother us. The hot tub was excellent, the accommodations comfortable and clean, and the proximity to the lake was perfect. Would definitely recommend to others.
