Les Cayrouses has a wonderful ambiance, built of stone from the surrounding properties with a slate roof typical of the regional style. Although parts of the building are up to 300 years old it has been restored to retain the same appearance and atmosphere.
There's plenty of space with 4 bedrooms all with bathroom facilities, big areas for relaxing and own space, and a wonderful terrace and pool area.
The small village is so peaceful with only one lived in residence, and the views are wonderful.
In France la Vallee du Lot is well known but little visited, it's a place to travel to, not to drive through on any tourist route.
The nearby villages are small and historic.
8 km west is the enchanting Entraygues with its 12th century chateau, where the Lot and Truyere rivers converge, good cafes on the square, restaurants, excellent boucheries and boulangeries.
To the east another 8 kms is beautiful and historic Estaing a designated "plus beau village de France " .
