Negatief: Netheid, staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten en communicatie
The property was badly cleaned. Just by moving a bed or a cushion on the sofa we found a dirty old sock, a condom wrapper, a McDonald’s sauce, a used ear bud cleaner, half a cigarette etc never a good start. The toilet seat was broken, the shower didn’t drain properly, the internet didn’t work and there was only one key between our group which on some days was 4. The sofa bed was actually just a sofa so don’t be fooled and it was too small for anyone to lie straight. The communication with vrbo was poor. Only by email and they would just ignore any questions they didn’t want to answer. I asked for a number to actually speak to someone which would have been so helpful but they weren’t interested. God help anyone if you lose the key and have to communicate by email to work it out. All the things above could have easily been sorted which was a shame because the location was perfect for us and the facilities were adequate. I argued we deserved some refund at the end but they just said no and ignored my plea to discuss the matter further. However when I left I mistakenly took the buzzer for the gate to the car park with me. Then they were writing to me as quick as you like. I acted as fast as possible to return the buzzer. Shame they didn’t show the same effort to make this apartment be what they advertised. But once they have your money and you’re dealing with non personal communication what can you do? Very disappointing
