This gorgeous and cosy country house offers guests an unique holiday experience in total privacy.

Casa El Nuevo Algarrobo offers privacy, has got a beautiful swimming pool with small waterfall, several terraces, outdoor kitchen, BBQ and pizza oven. Parts of the terrace are covered to provide shade. There are several cozy corners with garden furniture and sunloungers. The terrace has shady and sunny spots.

There is a spacious living room with open kitchen. The kitchen has got an oven, microwave, double sink, electric cooker, fridge/freezer combi, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, wine rack and all kitchen utensils. Next to the kitchen is a storage room with washing machine, iron board and iron.

The living room has a cosy salon with ceiling fan, radio CD with USB-plug, sofabed, sattelite tv, fireplace and comfortable seats.
There's a dinner table and chairs.

The bedrooms, 1 with double bed and the other one with bunkbeds and seating area, give out on a balcony with spectacular mountain views.
There are wardrobes in both rooms. Bed linen included.

The bathroom has got a very spacious walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and sink and is completely tiled. Bath linen included.

The windows have shutters and mosquito nets. They all overlook the extremely beautiful settings of the Sierra Tejeda.

Dogs can be allowed after consultation. There is an extra fee to be paid. The whole property is fenced.

Casa El Nuevo Algarrobo is situated in the beautiful surroundings of Comares, 'Pueblo Magico' of Spain and near the hamlet 'Los Ventorros'. In Los Ventorros are bars and restaurants. In Comares is a supermarket, bakery (bread baked in wood-oven!), pharmacy, bank, ATM, doctors consult and various bars and restaurants. There's also a sportsfield and FREE padel court.
Comares is well known for its unique location and often called 'The pearl of the Axarquia'. You can discover its Moorish past by following the ceramic footsteps through the village.

Bread can be delivered at the house every day except Sunday.

All the highlights of Andalusia are only a daytrip away from the house.
Malaga, Cordoba (Mezquita), Ronda, Granada (Alhambra) and the Caminito del Rey in Ardales can be visited easily.
Closer by, you can visit Nerja (Cuevas and Balcon d'Europa), the beautiful lake Viñuela and the award-winning beach of Torre del Mar.
The commercial centre of Velez-Malaga is only a 30 minutes drive away. There are shops and supermarkets.

Clean and everything you need

House very clean and with everything you need. Kitchen fully equipped, lots of towels and bedding’s etc. Susana was sooo helpful in any way, especially in helping us finding the house as we got lost in the mountains on our way to the house. Travelled with my small dog, which was able to get under the gate, but in two minutes Antonio fixed the gate, so I could let my dog out without any worries. Got firewood delivered to the house and almost every day a van came by the house with bread you could buy, luxury. The only negative things, pool not as big as the pictures shown. The driveway is very steep. The roads are very narrow and curvy, so you need to be an experienced driver. But with that said, we so enjoyed our stay in the house in the mountains.

Couples retreat!

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay. Communications with Antonio were excellent as were his directions to the villa. The villa is everything we hoped for. It is totally private with a small pool and superb views of the mountains from the terraced garden. There is a fantastic selection of cooking options outside to include a bbq, pizza oven and gas burning rings. The villa was comfortable, well equipped and clean. We were met on arrival at the villa by lovely Vi who explained everything to us including arranging for fresh bread to be delivered every morning by the baker from the next village. We had a couple of embarrassing user-error issues (locked ourselves out/couldn’t work out how to turn the hob on) and after contacting Antonio by phone he immediately arranged for lovely bubbly helpful Susana and her wonderful partner to come and help us. We were so well looked after and not made to feel guilty for contacting them. We found the small supermarket in Comares has almost everything you need but for a large supermarket shop to buy the beautiful fish etc we drove to Velux Malaga a couple of times. Almonds, olives and mangoes grow in abundance around the area and the peace is glorious. Returned home feeling 100% rested.

Family Holiday

This is a fantastic little house with lovely views in all directions. We stayed for a week with two boys. The pool was just right for them to play in for the week. There are some restaurants a short drive away and the nearest village has a small supermarket which stocks all the essential’s. Approx 10 min drive away.

Beautiful cottage in a rural idyll

Staying here for our second time at another time of year now gives us so many happy memories. Equipment and facilities very good. The owner is most helpful. The views are magnificent but there is privacy too. Thanks to Antonio, Vi and Susanah, a great team!! C & R xx

So we left our house Casa El Algarrobo, that we had built ourselves, behind to start a new life.
Soon we decided to share the unique charm of our house and its surroundings with others, rather than leaving it empty.

We would love to host you and offer you an unique and relaxing holiday in total privacy.

Casa El Algarrobo is a part of our life. We've built it ourselves and worked hard to make it as cosy and comfortable as possible, without taking the Spanish soul out of the house. Our guests love the typical details in the house and that makes us very happy.

The house and swimming pool offer complete privacy and are completely fenced. This makes it suitable for guests with children and/or pets.
The pool has a fence that you can close separately for security reasons.
Wherever you look, you will always have a marvellous view on the natural environment and mountains.
