Short Stay

The property was as described, however was not as clean as it should have been. The kitchen garbage can was filthy when we removed the garbage bag. The kitchen was well stocked. There were no directions for anything in the property. It was way too hot to sit outside, but if you wanted to sit in the large back yard, here was no place to sit. The location was good with easy access.

Great location

It was clean, with comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The location was great and the property owner always responded within a few minutes.

Has Potential

This cute home has so much potential, but fell short in many areas. With a little TLC and a few finishing touches, I am sure it will shine. Our stay was still better than the average 2-3 star local hotels with kitchenettes though. We stayed with 3 generations; my parents who are 69, me (47) and my daughter who is 6. We chose the home based on the accessible layout and the large backyard. The good: Cute neighborhood with gorgeous tree lined street Large front and back yard Home has recent updates Close proximity to everything you could need for food, store, eating etc. Comfy king bed in master and comfy full bed in 2nd room Nicely stocked with kitchen amenities Washer/Dryer Clean bathrooms with shower supplies AC works wonderfully The Not-So-Good No instructions whatsoever or welcome info anywhere upon checking in or out The home looks to be a work in progress - Hole in ceiling for wired lights, missing bulbs in fixtures, ceiling vents hanging off the ceiling, paint splatters on mirrors, windows and other areas as if the painter didn’t finish or clean up the work. Each room has a remote controlled new ceiling fan with a light; all identical…here’s the issue - every remote controls every room - so people are turning your light on and off from another room while you’re sleeping, but with their own remote. They’re all on the same frequency. We simply shut off all wall switches but that meant we couldn’t use the fans. The cleaning company missed a lot - cobwebs in every corner and light fixture, moldy keurig with old pod in it, and filthy trash can that smelled and was covered in grime No properly fitting window covers in bathrooms None of the doors close properly and some don’t stay shut at all - very old home and the bedroom doors need adjusting. You have to shove them shut with considerable force, which wakes everyone up any time you need the restroom. No TP holder, hooks for towels and no trash can in master bath - with a sign not to flush any feminine products, there really needs to be trash cans Barn Door to master bath is missing stopper so it slides off with use Sofa recliner features were broken Slow Roku speed - there was an antennae but it was still slow Gorgeous backyard but not usable - overgrown, no furniture or light, and fire pit filled with weeds Home smells of mildew Not enough supplies for a 10 day stay for 4 people No hangers Super hard mattress in 3rd room Need chair or bench in master would be helpful for seniors

Great stay!

Great location for us. We came to TN for the Celebration. This was a great location for us. House was clean and comfortable and the owner was very responsive, although we did not need him much! The house was perfect and suited our needs! Thanks Don, we had a wonderful time!
