Wonderful Small Village Stay

We enjoyed our stay in Cherwell a great deal. The cottage was exactly as described and was well outfitted for even long term stays. A local pub, The Wykham Arms, was recommended and had outstanding food and service. Plenty to do in the area including the Hook Norton brewery which has a wonderful tour.

We stayed here for the weekend to attend the British GP at Silverstone.The location was fantastic in an amazing village about 45 minutes from Silverstone. The drive to and from was super easy and also nice and quiet.The place itself is amazing, very spacious, super clean and very comfortable.The host Imogen was also fantastic and super responsive and is also able to provide many great local recommendations.I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and maybe we will be back in the area as it is a great area to explore and relax.

Rural Treat and Retreat

We had a three night stay here and loved it. Everything is as described and although we didn’t meet the owners who were away, we were given the phone number if Rosie, who was very helpful with answering any queries. Highly recommended.

Amazing stay

We have recently returned from a 3 night stay at this property. Our stay was for the F1, so didn't have much time to explore the area, but found the local pub which was very friendly with great food. The property was perfect for us, it was very clean and had everything we needed. The shower is amazing and the property is filled with little luxury extras. Would definitely stay here again and explore more of the local area, a very peaceful and beautiful part of the country.

Beautiful place to stay

Just returned from 4 nights in this lovely cottage. It was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Location really quiet. Host was very communicative and helpful by email.

Peaceful Location

Perfect retreat in a peaceful village and a great location to visit all the Cotswold hotspots, the barn was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished, comfortable bed, great communication with the owner and thank you for the wine and chocs.

Relaxing & reviving!

We have just spent 3 days in this lovely property whilst exploring the Cotswolds. The hosts are charming and friendly, and the property is comfortable and beautifully furnished to a high standard. Couple of nice pubs within walking distance with one that does excellent food. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing few days in a quiet village. Would definately stay again!

A Super Staycation at The Barn

The Barn was beautifully presented and the hosts made us feel very welcome. As a family of four we fitted comfortably into the indoor living space and enjoyed the patio and garden too. We are looking forward to a return visit.
