The apartment is located on the first floor of an ancient building located in one of the historic alleys opposite the Massimo Theater, Via dell’Orologio. The apartment is named after the protagonist of the Sicilian legend of the Moro, after which the famous ceramic Moro heads, often found on many balconies in Sicily, have been created. Furnished in a modern and functional way, the living area is separated from the sleeping area. In one room you will find a kitchenette, table and chairs, a double sofa bed and TV. The independent double bedroom is furnished with an open wardrobe and a desk. A balcony overlooking Via dell’Orologio completes the apartment.

Via dell’Orologio is a quiet pedestrian street close to the Puppets Theatre, a unique Sicilian tradition that really worths a visit. Our apartment is located in a side street of Via Maqueda, one of the most important commercial avenues in town alongside Via Ruggero VII and Via della Libertà. Via Maqueda has been recently made a car free area, and this has brought more stores, bars and restaurants in the area.
The area is just a stone’s throw from the main points of interest, as well as the luxury shopping area of Via della Libertà. Around Via dell’Orologio many restaurants and bars, where guests can enjoy the worldwide famous Sicilian cuisine, can be found. The Teatro Massimo and Quattro Canti are just around the corner, and the Cathedral of Palermo is just a 10-minute stroll from the apartment.
The Arab-Norman path (part of the UNESCO heritage) and the historic markets, such as mercato Vucciria are about a 5-minute walk from the apartment.

The closest stop of the airport bus shuttle is in Piazza Politeama, 10 minutes away from the apartment. Bus stops can also be found nearby, such as in Via Roma, less than 5 minutes away from the apartment.
