Eva's Cottage is an ideal base for exploring - situated in the delightful conservation village of Avon Dassett with its own "Yew Tree" Pub, children's playground and is near to the Oxfordshire/Warwickshire border on the edge of the Cotswolds. Within easy driving time of Banbury, Shipston on Stour, Broadway, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford on Avon and Bicester Outlet Village to name but a few.

The lovely living areas and excellent location make it the perfect choice for a family getaway or get-together with friends. This beautifully refurbished cottage retains traditional character but also includes a host of modern comforts, like Nespresso coffee machine, built-in wi-fi and electric panel heaters throughout, making it an ideal home away from home.

The well-equipped Kitchen/Diner has a fridge, hob, oven, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, freezer and microwave along with all the cooking aids and utensils you are ever likely to need. Adjacent to the kitchen is the delightfully comfortable country-style Sitting Room/Lounge for relaxing, watching Sky TV, or playing a DVD.

On the first floor, the cottage has two Bedrooms one with a double king bed and the other with two singles, comfortably sleeping 4 in all, plus the newly refurbished bathroom, which has a toilet, sink and a walk-in shower.

On the second floor, there is the Games Room -
a perfect place to relax on the settee and bean bags with a games console and Sky television.

Outside there is the charmingly private Patio/Garden with seating and table for alfresco dining or planning your day out - from Avon Dassett there are plenty of walks and places of interest - The Dassett Country Park, Edge Hill, Farnborough Hall and Lakes, The National Herb Centre, Upton House plus the whole of the Cotswolds to explore

Linen, towels, a hairdryer and an iron are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

A perfect place

The cottage is equipped with all amenities, the house decorated with a lot of sense for creating an special atmoshpere. We especially loved to sit outside in the little yard in the morning and in the evening with warm weather, but the sitting area on the third floor seems also to be a perfect place to relax and have a good time together - when temperatures are not so inviting. The village is a quiet place, a nice restaurant in walking distance, and several public footpathes can also be reached by walking, hiking though the lovely middle english landscape especially in the morning. Also a longer walk to burton dassett hills is a nice activity. For driving Banbury is not far away, and Oxford also can be reached easy for a day trip. Every thing in the house is well considered to make the stay as pleasant and cozy as possible - last but not least we like to thank the friendly and helpful owner who was available at any time and for all our questions. Thank you very much!

Avon Dassett stay

Fabulous little cottage - everything you need, clean and very comfy. We all had a great time- close to the Cotswolds for days out, fab walking and the pub down the road was excellent. Would highly recommend

Beautiful Cottage in a beautiful location

I would definitely recommend this cottage. It is spotlessly clean, very tastefully decorated and had everything you would need for a fabulous stay. Communication with the owners was outstanding. We had a wonderful time.
