Casa Soledad Villa With Golf Views is in a gated community of 16 properties, overlooking Cabopino Golf Course, just to the East of Marbella. This secure community benefits from the tranquillity of the hillside, yet close enough to nearby amenities. The property was built in 2020 and is a wonderful modern concept of elegance and functionality, making the most of the ability to enjoy flowing indoor/outdoor living in the weather that this region of Spain offers.

Casa Soledad villa with golf views is located almost halfway between the hugely popular towns of Marbella and Fuengirola on the boundary of the municipalities of Mijas Costa and Marbella. This location makes it a perfect holiday property. The property boasts impressive golf, sea and countryside views from the western borders of the extremely popular urbanisation of Calahonda and just a 15-minute stroll to some of the finest beaches of the area.

Upon entering the property, one can immediately appreciate the open plan concept with views directly through the main floor to the well furnished terrace, the garden and the pool beyond. Apart from the main pool in the garden, the property has an additional plunge-pool just next to the garden terrace.

The ground floor has the open-plan kitchen, allowing for sociable cooking experiences. From here one can interact comfortably with the rest of the family as they occupy the ample dining and living-room area.

On the lower floor are situated two bedrooms, sharing one bathroom. Although this is considered a basement area, there is plenty of natural light and fresh air available due to the clever design of the property. The common space of the basement area also comprises a purpose-built TV lounging area, ideal for some quiet time.

The upper floor has the master suite with it’s own bathroom and terrace overlooking the garden and pool areas, with views to the golf course and the coast beyond.

Also on the upper floor are two more bedrooms sharing one bathroom.

Overall great but not perfect

We spent two weeks in the villa. The villa is really nice, with lot of space, great views and great outdoor. The communication process with Paul was really good, the entrey in the villa great as well, and he always got back to us very quickly and helped fixed some issues we have had. It is good to know that two of the bedrooms are in the basement, with little windows through a shaft. When we entered there was a really bad smell and you could feel the humidity, so our asthmatic son had to sleep upstairs with us and other kids stayed in the tv room because of the smell in the bedrooms. I have to say that Paul handled things pretty well, but still it took a week to remove the smell after a truck came to pump all the sewage system, so we couldn't use those two bedrooms. It would have been nice that the owner would have offered some kind of compensation for the inconvenience, but not feedback on this. Overall we can recommend the place, but with some limitations because of the humidity downstairs if you are asthmatic for example. Would be perfect without this.
