Large oaks and maples shade the wide streets and deep backyards of the neighborhood. Our shady backyard is a perfect place to lounge while your pooches sniff the fenceline.
Inside the home, we love the feel of the smooth oak floorboards under our bare feet. The roomy kitchen is a fun place to prep a meal, and you can watch the world go by through the large picture window in the living room.
We've equipped the house with creature comforts that we always look for when we're traveling... good sheets and fluffy white towels, quality and playful kitchen gear, comfy beds with a variety of pillow and blanket types, a coffeemaker and a corkscrew among the essentials.
Above all, the location makes this house a winner. While it's nestled in the middle of a quiet cul de sac among similar houses, you can jump in the car and be at Crystal Bridges in 5 minutes, the Square in 3 minutes, and one of four grocery stores in 3 minutes. If you want to stretch your legs, all of these destinations are easily accessible by bike or foot. A walk to the Square for an ice cream cone (or an upscale dinner) takes about 12 minutes and we like to think we burn some calories along the way. It's a SAFE walk, too, past some of Bentonville's historic homes, brand new "mansions", churches, and schools.
If you're visiting Bentonville for the culinary scene - expect to be 6 to 16 blocks from the hottest spots.
If you're here for the art - you're 6 blocks from 21c and just a bit further to the gardens of Crystal Bridges.
If you're here for paved trail biking - leave from the house and you can go for miles in any direction. If you're not a regular cycler, try an E-Bike! Rentals of all types are available at MOJO Cycling, OZ E-Bikes, or Phat Tire Bike Shop,
If you're here for single track - Slaughter Pen is half mile north and Bella Vista's Back 40 can be accessed about 6 miles beyond that.
Canoeing and kayaking, hiking, rock climbing, and many other outdoor adventures are just a few miles beyond.
