The cottage is closely tucked away for peace & tranquility, but also within easy walking distance (200 yards) to the main town, shops, restaurants, watering holes and safe beach. Port Isaac is alive with history & exciting things to discover. It is a pet friendly habitat with a lovely enclosed garden. It is a short drive to other amazing beaches.
The beauty of this property is that there are two allocated parking spaces at the back of the property. This is a huge bonus as parking is limited in Port Isaac.
When you arrive in the front door you are led through the hallway to the cosy lounge/dining area. There is a wood burner fire in the front lounge and electric heaters throughout. Seating in the lounge is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the most spectacular views of the headland from the picturesque window. A well equipped kitchen is off the dining area (including dishwasher). Traditional slate floor is throughout the downstairs. A steep staircase takes you to the first floor where you will find the bathroom and houses a free standing bath, shower, toilet. There is a conveniently positioned washing machine and dryer in the boiler cupboard. Along from the bathroom is the first bedroom which accommodates a king-sized bed. This is a zip and link bed (king size) which can therefore become singles allowing a twin room to be enjoyed, if so desired.
Lastly, there is a door on the landing which leads to another flight of steep stairs. Here you will find a similar king-sized zip and link bed (making twins) with the added bonus of a pull out single bed underneath, if required. The views from both bedroom windows are stunning.
The cottage has electric heaters, electricity, bed linen, towels (not beach) and Wi-Fi all included. Initial logs for open fire included, remainder available locally. A travel cot is also available at a small additional cost, if needed, but please request this when booking.
There is a good sized, enclosed lawned garden, to the front with a sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. This is perfect for some alfresco dining after a long day exploring the beautiful countryside..
