There are 2 double bedrooms (one with an en-suite) as well as a shared bathroom containing a walk-in shower, and an open-plan kitchen/living room.

The Kitchen is fully kitted out with a washing machine/dryer and a dishwasher for your use, as well as a dining area with a large extending table and all the amenities you could need.

The living area contains a sofa and 65-inch television, and opens up out onto a balcony - perfect for a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening!

This property is on the 3rd floor with stair-only access.

Providing there are no other bookings on the day of check-in/out, I'm more than happy to be as flexible as possible with check-in/out times.

Great stay for our London visit

Pros: spacious with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, beautifully furnished, fully equipped, close to metro station, generous and communicative host. Cons: noisy from street and train, on 3rd floor with only stair access, located in metro zone 3.

Family London trip

Beautiful flat in a safe neighborhood within a five minute walk to Subway, Train, Grocery, Retail and 10 Restaurants. Vacationing here vs. tourist area provided opportunities to get to know locals and enjoy a full kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 private bathrooms. This was well worth a 30 minute subway ride to most destinations. The owner met us at the door and helped carry luggage. Would highly recommend.

Spacious

Spacious flat, easily assessable to the Balham Tube (train). Convenience store across the street and grocery market a block away. Spacious flat and good communication with the owner.

Great getaway

This was an ideal location for our week trip to London. It was very close (5min walk)!to the tube and rail station. Grocery stores and places to eat are all nearby. It was only about 25-30 min away from Central London. George was very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again on another stay.

Lovely flat in a great location

The flat looks just like the pictures: it is small by American standards, but well laid out and functional. My wife and I stayed two weeks with our adult daughter in this appx 850 sq ft 2bd 2 bath without difficulty. George, the property owner, is incredibly responsive and helpful. He lives in the neighborhood and is able to pop by if you need something. The location is great. 5 min walk from the Balham Tube, and 3 min from a grocery store. This is not a tourist area, so you are living with other Londoners, which is great. Takes about 25 min to get to central London on the tube, but often there is no transfer required, so it is very cheap and easy. We would be pleased to stay there again.

Nice gem in Balham

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The apartment was clean, well stocked and a few short steps away from shops, restaurants and the tube station. George was also extremely nice and accommodating. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Great flat and welcoming host

Great flat. Well located in Balham and within easy striking distance of train/underground. All mod cons. Arrival/departure really smooth. Host welcomed us, comms was good and snacks and drinks were even provided. A really enjoyable stay!

Perfect stay

We had a wonderful stay here. The flat is very clean and tidy with plenty space. George was a perfect host, he was there to meet us on arrival and easy to contact if needed during our stay. It is just a few minutes from Balham Station which has great links to central London and Gatwick airport. There are also lots of places nearby to eat out and shop. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to stay in London. We felt very welcome there.

Great base to discover London

Nice and spacious flat in a 19th century, recently renovated building, tasteful furniture, living plants, TV with Netflix, fully equipped kitchen and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Even a small balcony with view towards the City skyline. Balham Station is 3 minutes away, with Northern Line tube towards Westminster or the City every few minutes. Also Southern Rail-service towards Victoria Station. Pubs, shops and restaurants conveniently near. Very friendly and flexible reception by the owner, and also flexible on departure time as no one came after us. Thanks again. Cleanliness ok with only small details overseen by the cleaner. Trains pass nearby but bedrooms are situated on the other side. We would like to come again.
