The first thing you need to know about this property is that there are 60 stairs from the lobby up to the 5th floor apartment (and more inside). The second thing is that the air conditioning is inadequate for the space, particularly the bedrooms. If neither of those things are an issue for you, then this is a great apartment. The location is ideal. Right across from the train station and next to a Metro station. Tons of cafes and shops are right outside your door and it's an easy walk down (slightly harder walk back up!) to the water where you can get boat tours. There is also a tourist center just a few doors away with extremely helpful people. The apartment itself is nice and comfortable. The only thing we lacked was information. The amenities say there is a microwave, but we found it tucked away in a closet. Is it usable? There is also a washing machine listed, but it's partially broken and not at all intuitive (same with the stove) unless you're used to European appliances. We also had no idea what to do with the trash. Lastly, we spent a long time trying to get the TV to work (also one of the amenities). I wrote to the property management company (they were nice, but not quick to respond) and was told the owner prevented the use of all apps on the TV. Time wasted. A short informational sheet or booklet about the apartment would have been much appreciated and saved us some frustration.
