A Month in Lucca
The apartment was clean and comfortable. We spent a month there and were very satisfied.
A couple of hiccups. When we arrived there was nobody there to let us into the apartment. I couldn't get an answer from the property mgr but our driver new people in the office and helped get someone to come let us in.
We also never received the complimentary sheets even though I texted/emailed to request them. I was contacted on our last week to see if I rec'd them but at that point I had already washed the sheets and it was close to the end of the stay. The property manager was very sorry for the mishap, it wasn't a big deal but I think it is helpful to point it out in the review.
For the money, the location was perfectly fine. It was a 15 - 20 minute walk to get to shops and many of the restaurants. The weather was beautiful so the walk was a pleasure.
The neighborhood is noisy. I am not sure if there is student housing across the street because there were young men standing around the front of the building. They were very loud from early in the day to late at night.
But again, the price of this apartment is so good for what you are getting, the noise is tolerable.
Because we were there for 28 days, having a washer and dryer was fantastic! Air conditioner worked really well. The welcome book they have for guests is so helpful. Beds are comfortable. Nice tv.
This apartment is a very good value and we were very comfortable there. We highly recommend it.
