Summary:
After a day enjoying the adventure and diversity of North Cornwall’s rugged coastline, relax and unwind in this detached, stylish home. Enjoy the ocean and countryside views from the upstairs snug or warm yourself by the fire on the deck in the beautiful walled garden. You’re nestled amongst the countryside in the charming village of Poundstock, but still only a 5-minute drive to Widemouth Bay and 10 minutes to Bude.
The Space:
The house itself is a detached, light and spacious architect-designed eco home with 3 ground-floor bedrooms on the edge of the tranquil hamlet of Poundstock. The property is designed with pops of colour and raw wood details, mixing modern and mid-century furniture for a cosy cabin-like feel. Multiple bi-fold doors lead straight out onto the deck and wild garden. The open-plan layout is made for socialising and spending time together, for relaxing breakfasts and vibrant family feasts. You’ll find all the appliances you’d expect - a gas hob, oven, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, a cafetière and microwave.
Two of the bedrooms have king-size beds with luxurious mattresses and linens, whilst the third has two singles. As well as a family bathroom and WC, the largest room also boasts an en-suite. Our guests love watching the sunsets and ever-changing ocean views from the upstairs snug. Huge windows let the light flood in and offer great vistas over the surrounding countryside.
Private parking is available for 2 vehicles.
