Town: The Mendip Hills AONB's northernmost village and civil parish is called Blagdon. It is very interesting and has at least 17 listed buildings, including a church from the fifteenth century. There are two pubs, two convenience stores, and a café available as amenities. The fishing-friendly Blagdon Lake is northeast of the settlement, and the Organic Gardens and a Yeo Valley dairy with a café are also close by. The Mendip Hills are a picturesque walking and cycling destination that should not be missed. There is undoubtedly something in the neighbourhood to suit every taste, including a traditional day at the beach in Weston-super-Mare. The spectacular cities of Bristol and Bath, which are both only 12 miles apart, are also close by and well worth a visit because they include stunning architecture as well as a wide range of first-rate services and activities to keep you busy while you're there.
