I've lived in Queen's Park for 8 years and it is a hidden jewel within the bustle of Central
London. Beautiful Victorian architecture, SAFE, excellent transport links, and so many options for restaurants, shopping, boutiques, parks, pubs, and relaxation.
Need one of London's best coffees? That shop is around the corner. Need some fresh pastries and bread? That shop is a minute further away.
Grocery stores: M&S Simply Food is only a few minutes away. Sainsburys, Coop, Aldi, Tesco also nearby.
Restaurants: Lebanese, Indian, British, Japanese, Italian . . . you get the hint! A plethora of options are within walking distance. I'll offer my recommendations which will keep you well fed during your trip. One of my best tips: try a maple scone and a coconut latte from Gails Bakery in Queen's Park, to start off any day. Most of my guests go here and all go back the next day, too!
Don't miss the Sunday morning farmers market for artisan products, fresh produce, aromatic flowers, and an amazing vibe.
