If you are looking for a five-star hotel or a standard house that you'll find anywhere in the world then this is probably not going to be the right property for you, but if you are looking for a truly unique Georgian and Old Tbilisi experience then you will absolutely love our new Tbilisi home. Here's why.

This unique two-story private home with a private garden in the centre of Old Tbilisi is Just a 10-15 minute walk to the heart of major tourist locations yet provides a peaceful and quiet location on the hills overlooking the city with wonderful views.

Our Wonderful Georgian House

We aim always to make our homes feel like a home away from home with a traditional Georgian touch.

This is the absolutely perfect place for ex-pats or anyone looking for a real home for long-term rental, as well as city visitors looking to experience living like a true Tbilisi person.

When we bought this house we made a point to keep it as authentic as possible, which means we decided to decorate the house as a typical Tbilisi and Georgian home would be. That also means that everything in our home is either self-made, recycled or repurposed.

The 1st floor provides a welcoming and spacious entrance which leads you to a good size kitchen.

The quirky Kitchen is fully equipped and functional. It is big enough to accommodate 4 people to eat and/or socialise while cooking.

The upstairs entrance is via outside stairs. This is a very much traditional Georgian way to have stairs. The stairs are under the cover and you won’t get wet when it rains.

The 2nd floor opens up into a long, spacious and very welcoming typical Georgian hallway. It is big enough for a dining table and chairs and you are welcome to use it for either socialising, eating or as a dedicated office corner.

The Ceilings upstairs are 3 metres high creating a wonderful sense of space and light. We kept as well as sourced original windows and doors to maintain an authentic Old Tbilisi home look.

The bathroom is located upstairs. You enter the bathroom through almost 3 metre-high doors. Inside you’ll find a genuine iron bath, vintage sink and large airy window. It’s private with curtains.

A large Bedroom has a double bed, a single bed, and a sofa. Clothing hangers with plenty of space around the room.

When we bought the house the bedroom had no window and it was a dark cluttered space. Now it benefits from a side window that lets the air and light in while providing a lovely outlook upon waking up.

A large bright and airy living room opens up wonderful City views that you can enjoy any time of the day. The living room is decorated in traditional Tbilisi colours.

There is a small table and chairs in the room (again if you choose to this can be used as an office corner too). 2 sofa chairs as well as a single day bed for relaxing or can be used for an additional guest. Having a bed in the main room is something you’d see in a lot of Old Tbilisi homes. There is a traditional room divider provided for anyone sleeping or resting.

The living room has 3 large windows opening to the outside world and 2 internal windows opening traditionally to another room.

Garden/yard… The Georgian Ezo

The house has a lovely private yard/Ezo that is big enough to park 2 cars if needed. The gates are large, secure and locked. The yard provides both sun and shelter from the sun when it gets really hot. The entire yard overlooks the city. It’s a wonderful and safe place to simply enjoy as you wish. Ideal for kids or adults to chill. A great place to practice yoga, or enjoy a cup of coffee or Georgian wine.

A long balcony is located on the second floor. A wonderful way to enjoy the evenings or any time of the day that you like to relax.

Baby cot and a baby bath

This is available upon request please make sure to give us a notice if you need one.

There are also a couple of children’s chairs, as well as books and toys available for the little ones.

If you love to have a private space while still being centrally located in Tbilisi, this home is ideal for families, travelling groups of friends, and couples or if you simply love to have plenty of space.
