Although the history of Batu Bolong in Canggu goes back to the late 1700s, it only started to emerge in the 2000s as the go-to spot for hot, exclusive fashions in Bali. One of the main attractions is the Batu Bolong Beach, a popular surf spot in Bali.

Batu Bolong is an area marked by the street Jl. Pantai Batu Bolong which means the street leading to the Batu Bolong Beach. You can walk here from the villa, to get to the street will take you approx. 5 minutes . Here you can find many shops, cafes, warungs (local restaurants), supermarkets, gyms, bars and even night clubs!

You can walk anywhere from the villa, but the best way to move around the island is renting a motorbike. Traffic has become crazy during the last months and even though we count with free parking for bikes and cars, moving around the island by car with the new crazy traffic would not be the faster way!

Bali is the island of Gods, even we have our own temples at the villa, where you can do your pays or offers, if you want to get immerse in the culture and get a local feeling we recommend you to go to Batu Bolong Temple, kayutulang Banjar or the famous Tanah Lot. Only few minutes away from the villa.

Pura Batu Bolong was established as a place of worship of the Ida Batara Segara and is one of the Jagat Temple of Heaven in Bali. Hindu community in Bali always comes to this temple every day to perform prayers invoke blessings of Ida Batara Segara be given salvation and harmony. The neighborhood had become the most famous area in Canggu. You can find anything you need just around the corner! Laundry, stores, bars, spas, motorbike rentals and amazing restaurants and cafes!
