Winchester city centre can be reached with a 10 minute drive. Winchester is a perfect sized cathedral city, with history, boutique shops, and some amazing restaurants & bars. For foodies the restaurants include: The Ivy, Rick Steins, The Chisel Rectory, and the incredible Kyoto Kitchen. The New Forest is a 20 minute drive, and the beach can be reached in 25 minutes. Bournemouth is around 35 minutes. Twyford is a few minutes drive from the M3 (Junc. 11). Shawford train station is a few minutes walk from the house
Guest access
The entire house is exclusive to guests. There are areas & outbuildings within the grounds that are not open not guests, which will be clearly marked as such.
