Welcome to our charming 2-bedroom duplex apartment nestled alongside York's historic city walls, offering easy access to the vibrant heart of York City Centre. Ideal for a weekend getaway, our apartment provides a comfortable base for exploring all the treasures York has to offer right at your doorstep perched at the entrance of Walmgate Bar.

The Space:
Upon entry via an external stairway, you'll step into a welcoming hallway with distinctive recessed glass brickwork. This leads to the airy open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area. Simple yet stylish, the living space features a cozy 3-seater sofa, a glass-topped coffee table, a colourful floor rug, and a TV. The well-equipped kitchen boasts a gas hob with an electric oven and extractor, a microwave, a fridge freezer, a kettle, a toaster, a dishwasher, and even an air fryer. We provide all the essentials for your stay, including crockery, glassware, cutlery, and basic cooking utensils, along with complimentary tea and coffee. Convenient storage options include an understairs cupboard housing an iron and ironing board, as well as a hallway cupboard with coat hooks, a washing machine, and a hoover. The bathroom features a bath, basin, WC, wall-mounted mirror, and heated towel rail.
Upstairs, you'll find two cozy bedrooms. The main bedroom offers a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a hairdryer. It also boasts an ensuite shower room with a corner shower unit, wall-mounted mirror, heated towel rail, WC, and basin. The second bedroom features another double bed with a bedside table and chest of drawers.

Gas central heating and double glazing ensure your comfort throughout your stay.

There are plenty of Taxis in the City with a taxi rank on St Saviourgate just a few strides away. The York City Sightseeing bus is a great way to tour famous landmarks while having a comfy seat. The train station is a 20 minute walk away. The best way to discover all there is to offer is by foot, down tiny side streets and cobble laid pathways.
