This particular apartment is located within the ZTL zone, so if you plan to come to Bologna by car and want to get around and park, you will need to pay special attention to street signs, CCTV cameras, and access cameras (which will show a red/green light) to avoid receiving fines. Guests who need to drive within the ZTL zone to reach their apartment are encouraged to contact one of the downtown private garages (the one closest to the apartment you are staying in) to obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage, clients should specify that they need access to the ZTL, and the garage will take note of the vehicle's license plate number and forward it to the appropriate police station.
