Sounderosa Cottage ligt 200 meter van de oceaan aan de westelijke oever van Somes Sound in Hall Quarry.

Het huisje biedt alle gemakken van thuis, waaronder: Full size apparaten, wasmachine / droger, alle beddengoed, granieten open haard, groot dek, flatscreen satelliet-tv, WiFi, privéparkeerplaats met vrij adembenemend uitzicht over Somes Sound en Sargent Mountain.

Ons huisje wordt geleverd met een diep water dok perfect voor vissen of het houden van uw boot. Geniet van de zonsopgang en de rustige eilandsfeer vanaf je eigen terras en luister naar de Loons bij zonsondergang. Een diep water ligplaats is gratis als u een boot meeneemt / huurt.

Ons huisje is goed onderhouden en onderhouden volgens de hoogste normen in netheid en kwaliteit. Wij bieden al het brandhout dat u nodig heeft, zeep, wasmiddel, papieren handdoeken, afvalverwijdering en zelfs een grote ketel om uw verse Maine kreeften te koken die we beschikbaar hebben aan onze kade. Geniet van goede lokale restaurants en breng de dag door in Bar Harbor, op slechts 10 minuten rijden. Geniet van de rustige omgeving, rijk aan dieren in het wild en een fantastisch uitzicht.

This place has it all!!

We have stayed at a lot of rental properties and this was by far our favorite experience. Paul and Ashlee are the best hosts! We didn’t realize we had to print the park pass and Paul had it printed and delivered to us within 10 minutes. The property is beautiful and centrally located to anything on the island! We fished off the dock everyday. We saw seals, dolphins, jellyfish and caught some mackerel. Cooking fresh lobster from the dock for dinner was a great experience- and delicious! The house was spotless as well. The views and sunrise from the deck cannot be beat. It’s so quiet and peaceful. You have neighbors, but cannot see them or hear them. We loved it all and cannot say enough good things about our stay!!!

Authentic cottage on the Somes sound

We had an enjoyable stay in”Sounderosa” one of several authentic cottages overlooking the Somes sound in Hall Quarry. Our place was an original cottage built in the 1960’s with furnishings and dishware that fits that era but with modern appliances, updated bathrooms and heat/AC unit. Impeccably clean. Paul, the grandson of the family now runs the daily operations. He could not have been more accommodating, helpful and kind. It was a pleasure to see him doing work around the grounds, and wave hi as we passed. Easy access to Acadia and the area but off the beaten path, nice and quiet. We are hoping to bring our entire family for a vacation in the future and rent a couple of the cottages. Highly recommended.

Cool getaway with grandkids

We take our grandkids (6 & 9) on a trip each summer. We all had a great stay at Sounderosa. The location was perfect and the cabin suited everyone just fine. The kids loved spending time on the front porch looking at boats. Close to hikes, swimming, exploring and great food.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting

This cottage was perfect for our family vacation. Our hosts were amazing and easily reachable. Acadia, hiking trails, beaches, and amazing restaurants were all close by, just a few minute drive. The cottage it’s self was beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with all of the cooking utensils we needed. Super clean and comfortable. The best part was the back deck that showed amazing views of the sound. We usually don’t repeat our family vacation spots, but we’re already planning on coming back next year.
