Everything was great Large common areas Great to hang out around the pool and watch the ocean I was concerned about only 3BR, but it worked out great, each family had their own large dorm with plenty of space and bags.

Beautiful home with everything you need. Quiet location. Responsive host. Beds were comfortable, Number of bedrooms was a little bit limiting, but still very comfortable. Very clean. All around an excellent house. Highly recommend.

Positief: Locatie
Spacious and gracious is how I think of the Lako house. My entire extended 3-generation family felt completely at ease, welcomed and entertained. We basked in the pool and hot tub, barbecued every night, spent hours in the kitchen, gathered for communal meals and visited beaches, restaurants and markets on the west coast, all the while knowing we would soon be "home" to watch the full moon and swim in the lighted pool. Bill was a wonderful host. We had a family reunion we will always cherish.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lako House. We were two families of four with kids ranging an age from 8 to 12. Host Bill was very welcoming and communication was excellent. While staying in the house it was evident our hosts are experienced with group rentals - everything was very user friendly and well thought through. We had many beds to choose from, a comfortable kitchen, dining and living room and the pool was very well utilized by our kids before and after our daily adventures. The waterfall was a plus and made them smile. this will be our top choice to stay when we return to the Big Island. Thank you, Bill and Lako House for a comfortable and easy stay!

Truly amazing experience at the Lako House. We became friends with Bill and his wife, and he was phenomenal at communicating the whole time. The whole experience was nothing short of perfect. Would recommend to anyone!

The Lako House was perfect for us. 6 adults and 7 kiddos ages from 5 to 16 years old. The kitchen was large, dining area great, 3 patio tables on the lenai. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids. The view is amazing! Bill is extremely responsive to texts/calls and will provide info/suggestions of things to do.

Everything was very clean. Host was a super communicator. Even paid a little extra to have the air conditioning in the one unit which was worth it for our daughter who has autism. Overall great Stay would highly recommend!

Lako House is a great place to stay for large families

Located close to Kona town, spacious rooms, lots of amenities, inviting pool & jacuzzi, and staff that responds very quickly. If you do your homework (like we did), and compare houses that cater to large groups, you'll find Lako House is great place to stay for large groups / families.

Beautiful home

The house was perfect and accommodated our family of 11 of varying ages. The view was incredible, pool refreshing and kitchen well stocked! Near a lot of great restaurants and markets and the beds were very comfortable.
