Kom en verblijf in onze Mountain Cabin, hoog boven de vallei op de top van Tunnel Mountain! Deze ruime en serene 450 vierkante meter cabine biedt de perfecte toevluchtsoord van de drukte van het centrum van Banff, terwijl het een klein eindje rijden. We denken dat je je meteen thuis zult voelen in het hart van het oudste nationale park van Canada!

Droom in slaap in de 1 slaapkamer, met een queensize bed. De LOFT op de bovenverdieping fungeert als een tweede slaapkamer en heeft 2 knusse queensize bedden. Een extra slaapbank voor twee personen in de woonkamer is perfect voor extra bezoekers of de kinderen.

Er is 1 BADKAMER met een heerlijke douche / bad-combinatie. We hebben een klein assortiment GRATIS toiletartikelen en handdoeken voor je!

Ons open woongedeelte is comfortabel en helder en creëert een rustige en stille sfeer. Er is een comfortabele bank, een tv en een majestueuze open haard. U zult het heerlijk vinden om op het privébalkon te stappen met een glas van uw favoriete drankje!

De volledige KEUKEN biedt alles wat u nodig heeft om te koken in het comfort van uw huis in de bergen, waaronder kookgerei, borden, bestek, koelkast, gasfornuis, magnetron en een koffiezetapparaat / waterkoker. Geniet van uw maaltijden aan de mooie eettafel met stoelen.

Onze gasten hebben toegang tot een aantal uitstekende voorzieningen in het prachtige Tunnel Mountain Resort, waar deze unit gunstig gelegen is. Grote ramen kijken uit op het ongerepte binnenzwembad en het stoombad biedt het perfecte paradijs aan het einde van een leuke dag! Maak gebruik van de uitgeruste fitnessruimte ter plaatse om in vorm te blijven, terwijl de kinderen zeker van de speelruimte voor de kinderen zullen houden. Hikes: Een geweldige lokale Banff-gezinswandeling is Tunnel Mountain. Lake Louise: Plain of Six Glaciers Teahouse (hele dag) of Lake Agnes Tea House (1/2 dag). Johnston Canyon ook met bevroren watervallen in de winter, Moraine Lake: Larch Valley & Sentinel Pass, Takakkaw Falls en de Iceline trail.

Skiën en wintersportplezier! Slangen zijn geweldig leuk en verkrijgbaar bij zowel Lake Louise als Mt Norquay. Schaatsen bij Lake Louise is ook een must en maakt de perfecte fotomoment!

Great trip to Banf

Great location, friendly staff, hope to return one day!

I stayed with four friends for a week of skiing. The beds were comfy, unit was very warm and cozy, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Would return!

Just what we needed

Downtown Banff

Great overall little cabin near downtown Banff. We walked to the Tunnel Mountain summit trailhead from our room. Complimentary bus tickets provided to go to downtown Banff which was nice, but we still drove with the kids. Great location to downtown, Banff gondola and hot springs. Cabin was perfect setup for our family.

Pleasant stay

Overall, it was a good stay and met our needs. My negative comments would be focussed on the detail to cleanliness. There were a pair of socks outside the front door as we entered. There were dried up contact lenses on bedroom nightstand. As we looked over the loft, there was 'Dunkaroo' package on top of kitchen cabinets...lots of dust there to see. The overhead lights needed a good dusting. Finally, the balcony/deck needed some cleanup: wood and loose concrete everywhere. The kitchen itself was very clean and the beds were awesome and comfortable. Again, it did meet our needs for the one night stay.

Still a great place to stay in Banff

We were surprised to see the Tunnel Mountain Chalets available through VRBO. Everything went smoothly and we had the same good memories when we stayed here many years ago with our children and their friends for mainly winter activities. There are a couple of heads up pieces of advice for future visitors: 1. No A/C if you are there in the summer. 2. Limits in cookwear and oven bakewear and we were not aware of calling the front desk to get assistance with the missing items. 3. The ice machines empty quickly so go early. They do have large bags for the ice cubes. 4. Call front desk if you need a broom or other miscellaneous items.

Good Place but...

Hello Friends: I wanted to leave a few items about this property: 1. The unit was clean and nice 2. The kitchen has a few kettles, silverware, bowls, flatware salt and pepper. Don't expect much else. This is not your typical VRBO where the kitchen is fully functional. We were able to get a cookie sheet from the front desk and also some toweling. So if you plan to cook you need to prepare in advance for kitchen items. 3. This is NOT a house or a Condo unit. This is part of a resort. Really an expanded hotel room. We were expecting a fully functional condo and did NOT get that. I would also be careful booking. Sorry VRBO folks, but the FEES from VRBO were VERY high. If you book on the VRBO site, you will pay a lot more than if you just go to the resort and book direct from there. Beware!! We did not realize it until the middle of our stay. We were very sad about that. 4. The resort front desk crew and cleaning staff are VERY friendly, helpful and fun to work with. Loved them!! 5. The beds are comfy. The upper balcony bedroom is quite private and cozy. Liked that a LOT 6. Yikes: The Bathroom!!! So small. There is little to no room for your toiletries. The shower stall is super awkward. The wall is angled and a big person will struggle. Be prepared for that. However, for up to 3 folks, as long as some of you put your stuff in the shelves outside the bathroom you can make it work. And, it was clean with extra toilet paper and Kleenex. So that was nice. 7. There are 2 grocery stores in Banff and also several liquor stores. You actually don't really need to buy your grocery prior to arrival like we did. There are plenty of options in Banff for that. 8. There is a workout center in the resort complex. They do have weights and a treadmill, but it is in a basement and a little dingy there. We did not use it. Hiked instead. 9. Bring ear plugs for sure! The freight train runs right through Banff and OFTEN! It goes all night long and blows the whistle very loudly.... For light sleepers, you will want hearing control. Wow! 10. You can walk across the street to hiking trails. We saw a very large Elk on our hikes there and lots of bugling was heard. You can also go to the golf course and drive through. You will see a LOT of Elk there as well. 11. The shops in Banff are your typical tourist shops. Lots of tee shirts, etc. Hope this helps.

Excellent Location, Excellent Property

Location is within a short walking distance of all locations in Banff whilst also being far enough away from the late-night bustle of the main drag to make it feel like a proper getaway destination. Unit was quiet, beds were comfy, and the sauna / steam room were a very welcome added bonus! Five stars out of five.

Great family vacation!

We stayed here for two nights with our 3 year old and 1 year old. The kids had a blast, especially in the pool!! Beautiful condo, very clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. We couldn't use the wood fireplace, because of our small kids, but would have loved it if they were older. The entrance rug could have been bigger, as there wasn't a lot of room to walk in or leave your shoes/boots without making the floor wet. Would definitely stay here again!

really great place there was a leak in the roof but they fixed it the next day. Great response i would recommend

Lovely place close to Downtown

Great place and great size with ample parking options. The listing is a bit outdated - there is no convenience store nearby (that closed 2 years ago apparently). The unit is part of a resort, and the staff there were great!

Cozy and well appointed

Easy to book and was accommodated for a date change. Polite and friendly service. We were a party of 7 adults and had to ask for enough towels, blankets, toiletries, etc., but all requests were met quickly and politely. Kitchen was well equipped with essential items provided upon request. Cabin was comfortable with nice finishes. Hot tub out of service, and pool and spa areas need renovation. Good gym facility. Affordable bike rental. We enjoyed our stay.
