Beautiful area and nice view of the lake; steep path to the lake might be an issue if you have mobility issues. This is a remote area so I would take groceries with you. Laurel was super and Buster was a sweetie. I struggled with no TV for a day or so before I settled in and relaxed.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage! The lake views were amazing. Loved the fireplace too. The location was good for us (30-40 min to Middlebury/Brandon/Ticonderoga). We had some trouble with WiFi but the host was really responsive to fix it. My only suggestion would be to deep clean every once and awhile because it was pretty dusty, especially in hidden places like under/behind the furniture and our allergies kicked into full gear. But otherwise it was a really nice stay (for our dog too) and we could tell that the host cares a lot about her guests. Thanks again!!

This is a special place indeed! The cottage itself is charming and comfy and has everything you need. But the real star is its location and the covered porch that allows you to enjoy it in every weather. The views are stellar - even reminding me of the Italian lakes in certain lights. Our host was available to help at every turn - sort of like a guardian angel:)

The lake view from the living room and kitchen was truly awesome, and the house was artistically decorated and functional. We found our experience very warm and tranquil. We plan on returning.

Lovely stay

Laurel and her house are unique and delightful. Not a luxury hotel but pleasingly eclectic. Just what we wanted.

Nice get away

Great location. Best part was the porch over looking the lake and the very friendly wild life around us. We enjoyed swimming and paddling too.

We had a beautiful, relaxing, & activity filled stay in this unique lakeside cottage with an osprey-level view of the southern end of Lake Champlain. Kayaking, bird watching, apple picking, day trips to Middlebury & Vergennes & lounging around the atmospheric cottage made for a top notch experience all around. Thanks!

A beautiful, quiet cabin. Exactly as advertised. Clean, funky decor. Spent half of each day floating in the lake in some cheapy pool inflatables we brought with us and it was awesome. Great communication with host. Thanks for a much needed getaway.

Lake Champlain VRBO

Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Very pleasant accommodations, and a quiet and scenic location. We plan on coming back but for a longer stay. Many thanks.

A great place for a quiet week

My wife and I spent a half-work, half-vacation week in the cottage, and it met all of our needs. WiFi was great for web conferences, and AT&T and Verizon cell service strong. The lake view is fantastic. Laurel is a great hostess. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet lakeside camp.
