We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s home in Little Compton! The property is absolutely stunning and we loved to hear of the history of the home itself. We could walk into town and the beaches were very close. The home is stocked with board games and books which my children loved. It was well maintained and exactly like the description. Thank you again and look forward to returning next summer.

This was not our first stay at this property and hopefully it won't be the last! Maybe it is growing up in old homes but the space just has such lovely, warm, welcoming energy to it. The enclosed porch and the upstairs deck continue to stun with their views, and there have been lots of thoughtful updates over the years (the kitchen is great!). Host was engaged and responsive throughout, and helped us strategize an issue that was neither party's doing (mother nature!). Hope to be back soon.

My friends and I have stayed each year in this charming cottage and love it. Jenny and her husband are terrific hosts and respond immediately to any issues. They put in a great deal of thought and work to create a comfortable and beautiful space for people. We will continue to come back. Little Compton is a lively and fun town and it is so close to many wonderful hiking areas. There is an Audubon refuge and numerous opportunities for beautiful walks, whether on the beaches or through the woods.

Perfect Girls Getaway House

Stayed at the house with a group of my girl friends and had the most lovely time. The house is so charming and plenty of space for us all. Would definitely recommend for a friends or family getaway!

Welived the quaintness of the building with much of the original paneling and latches for the doors. The remodeled kitchen was a joy to cook in. And the views were amazing- from beautiful sunsets to hersd of deer. My personal favorite was sitting in the sun porch and a cup of tea.

This is a great home to stay in! The kitchen was excellent and had all the necessities needed to cook for a family. The rooms were neat, tidy, and clean. The living space had plenty of seating. My family was in Little Compton for a wedding enjoyed our stay in this charming home.

Location close to town was great. Kitchen was well stocked allowing for family meals at home. We especially enjoyed the large yard. And the sunsets from the yard were spectacular! Great stay.

Great house for family get together

This is a great place for extended family get-togethers. The house has old new england charm, a spacious and well appointed kitchen, lots of room for everyone, and is situation on gorgeous farmland a short drive to the ocean. Very welcoming, family-friendly place.

Family thanksgiving retreat

This is a beautiful location and a great vacation home. The only issue we had was with water pressure, especially in the kitchen sink.

Thanks for your comments and I’m glad you had a nice visit. In terms of the kitchen faucet, we renovated the kitchen last winter and installed a high quality faucet that is designed to use less water. Sorry to hear that the lower pressure was an issue. I am not sure where else you experienced water pressure issues. One of the full baths has a new shower-head that may have a low pressure valve setting. I will test the showers out as well as all of the bathroom faucets.

Beautiful property

The house was perfect for our stay. The kitchen and house was fully stocked with everything you can need. We will definately recommend this rental. The hosts were very nice and easy to deal with. All around great place and rental.

We had a great time in Little Compton staying at this charming farmhouse. The screened in porch was an especially nice feature of the house. The views from the property are beautiful and scenic.

Charming & lovely cottage

This sweet cottage was the perfect size for a lovely weekend getaway for a group of 6 women. There are some great hiking trails in the area and the general store (an easy walk) had everything we needed. This was our second year and we'll be coming back!

The listing says is AC, this was deceiving. There was no central AC. There are two window units: one in the living room and one bedroom out of 5. The entrance to the front door was dangerous with uneven stones and rocks (many tripping hazards). We also arrived at night with not a single light on. The bedrooms had a musty odor and mold on the master bedroom shower. The owner enter the house unannounced and without permission to close windows while teenagers are in the house who were scared to find a stranger on the 2nd floor. They have all our contact information and never called, this was very upsetting. The owner parked multiple cars in driveway making it difficult to maneuver cars in the driveway. The owner commented on lights been left on, windows and fans, which should not be restricted. It is summer time and hot, we didn't get a home that had the central air that we expected. Lastly, the property description didn't say that the owners live on the property.

Dear Wanda, I’m terribly sorry that your visit was not all you hoped it would be and we appreciate your comments so we can take steps to make sure our customers are satisfied. Thank you for the feedback regarding the outdoor lighting. We understand the solar lights installed at the front entrances were not bright enough for you. Additionally, we have spoken with the cleaning crew about doing a better job with the grout in the shower stall. It seems you had some trouble navigating the VRBO site. The website states that we do not have central AC and that there’s a second house on the property used by the owners. Unfortunately your visit began with four days of continuous rain and temperatures in the 60s. On the fourth day, upon noticing multiple open windows and an open door, I reached out to you through VRBO asking that when it is raining, you close the windows most of the way. After over seven hours of steady rain and no response from you, my husband entered the house to close the windows and prevent damage to our home. Before going inside, he announced himself by knocking loudly and calling out several times. For decades, we’ve taken great pride in providing the best customer service as possible for our guests. Our family has lived in Little Compton since the town was settled, and we've owned our property for over one hundred years. We have a deep love of family and of Little Compton. The land surrounding our two houses is undeveloped. It is also now protected from development thanks to the town and our family! We hope you'll fall in love with Little Compton too.

Wat deze accommodatie uniek maakt

This property is close to both the town center and the beaches. It is well managed and maintained. Our family summers in the main house located on the property if any questions should arise during your stay. The house is set back from the road on a large yard. It's a clean and comfortable house and can accommodate a good sized group. Our enormous yard (2 acres) is surrounded by protected agricultural land. You are welcome to bring your dog with our prior approval. Please be aware that we charge a fee if you bring a dog to cover extra wear and tear on the house. If you want to bring more than one dog you must also get our permission first. Please email us if you have date constraints. We try our best to accommodate our tenant's needs.
