Very nice place, great location. Very short walk to East Beach, but you might want to rent bikes to get back and forth to the Village. Especially enjoyed the large front porch and back screen porch. House was clean, spacious, and well-maintained.

Perfect place

This property was perfect for our laid-back trip to beautiful St. Simons. Great location in a quiet neighborhood within a short walk to beach and for exploring the area.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Beach House has been our favorite St. Simons Island getaway for many years. During this visit, I cut the bottom of my foot on the wood floor in the dining room ~ and have informed REAL ESCAPES that many of the wood slats are broken and popping up, needing repair throughout the kitchen and dining room.

Needed getaway

After not having a vacation for three years and then recently having hip surgery, I needed a place for some R&R. The spot was perfect. It had a beach cart all the beach chairs, and needs and only a block away from the beach nice offstreet parking wonderful porches.

Very nice and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a very nice place for two couple. I suggest that the owner invest in new pillows which would make for more comfortable sleeping. Otherwise it was all good.

This location was convenient for us, well prepared for guests and comfortable. We were a bit put off by noticeable pet stains in the Master Bedroom.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the lay out of this cottage. It was in a perfect location and comfortable for two couples. We spent a lot of time on the front porch! I do think the bedrooms and baths could use a little TLC. They looked a little tired and I don't imagine the linen comforter is cleaned after every guest. The dishwasher had mold inside and needed a good cleaning. None of these things stopped us from rebooking next year!

A Cosy Quiet Retreat

We enjoy the two porches for morning coffee, reading or dining outside. The kitchen could use a little TLC but the house is furnished comfortably and we plan to make a return stay.

Girls get away

The most perfect little cottage for us girls. In a safe neighborhood, beautiful walk to the beach, gorgeous front porch to relax and have coffee in the morning. We really couldn’t have asked for anymore.
