Lattice House is de ultieme tropische villa. Stel in een 60 hectare groot prive-reservaat, 3 minuten boven het prachtige Playa Hermosa, omgeven door jungle, geniet u van een spectaculair uitzicht op de oceaan vanuit elke kamer, het dek en het overloopzwembad.

Geniet van de unieke moderne architectuur van Bali, en op maat ontworpen afwerkingen en meubels, allemaal geïmporteerd uit Bali. Lattice House is gebouwd en is liefdevol onderhouden als mijn huis, en je zult het gevoel hebben dat het je eigen privé-paradijs is voor je verblijf.

Je hebt een onsite manager / conciërge en een onsite chef om je grondtransport, activiteiten, maaltijden met maaltijden en restaurantreserveringen te verzorgen, zodat je al je tijd kunt besteden aan ontspannen en genieten van je verblijf.

Lattice House is gunstig gelegen halverwege tussen Dominical en Uvita, vlak bij de kustweg. U hoeft uw waardevolle vakantietijd niet door te brengen op bergwegen op en af om te genieten van ongelooflijke uitzichten en privacy. Het reservaat omvat grote parkachtige ruimtes, boomgaarden en jungle, met paden die leiden naar talloze beken en watervallen. In elke richting zie je alleen witte waterkustlijnen, bergen of regenwoud. Op een bepaalde dag kunt u brulapen en witkopapen, coaties, tayras, agouties, luiaards, toekans, aracaries, kolibries, papegaaien en tientallen andere vogelsoorten zien en horen, allemaal vanuit het huisdek.
Lattice House is een spectaculaire plek en ik deel het graag met onze gasten.

De master slaapkamer met kingsize bed, een slaapkamer met queensize bed en twee volledige badkamers bevinden zich op het hoogste niveau; twee slaapkamers (een koningin, twee tweelingen of een koning) en een complete badkamer zijn op het lagere niveau. Er zijn twee banken in de woonkamer die als extra bedden kunnen worden gebruikt.

Lattice House heeft alle voorzieningen die u verwacht in een luxe huis en nog veel meer: gedeeltelijk overdekt totaal overloopzwembad met verwarmde jacuzzi; vier overdekte patio's en dekken; airconditioning in alle slaapkamers; leien en marmeren vloeren en badkamers; roosterwerk en hardhout uit Bali; openlucht hoofdbad met koperen bad; inloopdouche op de benedenverdieping; gootstenen van koper en steen; volledig uitgeruste, roestvrijstalen keuken; mooie meubels, kunstwerken en accessoires.

The Lattice house was amazing and the view is beautiful/hermosa! We loved being there and enjoying the two Macaws that came to visit us daily. It is a beautiful location- we love Dominical. Alturas wildlife refuge was so educational and wonderful to learn about the animals of CR-plus the fee to tour it goes directly to the care of the animals there. Rainmaker park in Quepos is also a great park for hiking with many suspended bridges. Angie and Allen did a great job making sure we were taken care of while there!

What an amazing home, or should I say estate! Staying here was like being invited into a private resort. Whatever you could want is there for you, the views are breathtaking, and the nature is everywhere. Just while relaxing at the pool, we saw scarlet macaws and all sorts of other birds, monkeys, and coatis in the trees, as well as huge lizards and great curassows scurrying through the grass. And we woke almost daily to the roar of howlers monkeys. The master bedroom opens onto a huge deck surrounded by trees, with a copper tub and outdoor shower. Gorgeous and well stocked kitchen too! Working with the owner Pat and property concierge Ana could literally not have been easier, more promp, or more delightful. Their area suggestions and the arrangements they made for us were perfect. We especially enjoyed the guide they chose for us for Manuel Antonio NP, how knowledgeable and skilled he was. I've posted a few of the images he snapped for us through his scope. (Two of the pictures are the scarlet macaw we saw at the property, and a sunset we experienced in Uvita, the others are by the Manuel Antonio guide.) Enjoy.

I can't say enough good things about Lattice house. It made for a relaxing and memorable stay. I don't need to describe it - you can see for yourself how beautiful it is. I'll just talk about things that are less obvious.For starters, the accuracy of the pictures and descriptions is excellent. In fact, everything is even better in person. That often isn't the case in rental situations. Also, the kitchen is probably the best stocked I've ever seen in terms of the availability and quality of cookware, utensils, leftover storage bins, pans, etc. It was so easy to cook meals.I slept in the main bedroom and the bed was so comfortable. I slept great every night.Communication with the owner, Patricia, and the concierge, Ana, were phenomenal and easy. They were great resources and very helpful at every stage.Everything is so thoughtfully done, from the extra binoculars to the beach equipment in the garage, to plenty of flashlights, to umbrellas. It was one of our best vacations.

The most beautiful property!

You will never stay anywhere more beautiful! It is your own paradise. The house is perfect. Ana, the concierge, is so welcoming and helpful. She helped us plan everything we did and answered our many questions. Being able to rely on Ana's help, not having to research every detail was a true vacation!

Fantastic Property

Located near many great restaurants and a short drive to a nice beach. Wildlife around the house including onsite hiking trails. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. Availability for onsite private Chef and an extremely helpful concierge. Perfect and highly recommend.

Perfection!

This property was even better than expected! Our family of seven, ranging in age from 11 - 78 years old, used this as our home base to explore the area, from Manuel Antonio down to Uvita. We fished, walked the whale tail, hiked Nauyaca Falls, and explored beaches, and the Lattice House location was perfect! We also spent alot of time at the property, between exploring the orchard, watching wildlife that visited each day, and relaxing in the pool and hot tub area, with beautiful ocean views. The house is extremely well-stocked and the property manager, Ana, is quick to respond to any questions and provide recommendations for the area. I would 10/10 return to Lattice House!

Perfect family Costa Rica getaway

Our family had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house. Close to so many fun activities. Ana was the best concierge and arranged everything for us. Great location, incredible views

The house was in very clean and everything was in working condition, the jacuzzi was in perfect working condition and got hot very quick, which was a huge bonus. The beds were comfortable, sheets were soft. Toucans and monkeys visited us daily… What a great spot. One of our best stays in Costa Rica so far… thank you 🙏

Relaxing in Paradise

Our stay at the Lattice House exceeded our expectations! It is a beautiful property in a great location. The hike to the waterfall was a highlight. The property manager, Ana, was very helpful and took care of all our needs. The meals cooked by the private chef were delicious. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

Pictures can’t do it justice

The property is amazing and gives big White Lotus vibes! All the listing photos do not do it justice. The indoor/outdoor design of the house made being out enjoying the pool and view the highlight of our days. The staff/helpers made many great suggestions without being pushy. We used the Chef service for three dinners because Chef Koko was great to work with and made really lovely dishes for us. Ana, again was great to work with and knows her stuff. She was very helpful with logistics like transportation, provisions and tours. I need her for my own home

Paradise!!!

Lattice House is heaven on earth! The setting and view are breathtaking. It’s the ultimate destination you can imagine. All the activities we did were outstanding and we’re nearby. There are lots of restaurants in the area and beaches galore. We can’t imagine a more spectacular getaway than Lattice House!!

A beautiful property from the second you turn in the driveway! The view is breathtaking and the house itself is very comfortable, clean, & beautifully decorated! Plenty of towels & other supplies and a nice welcome basket await. We also had our son who is in a wheelchair with us and found the house to be very accessible.

We were 3 couples - all retired- who spent a week in this amazingly gorgeous house on a preserve of many acres with trails, orchards, flora and fauna. The pool was maintained twice weekly and a real plus. Ana was an attentive and informative help both before and during our stay. We had Alexandra and Juan cook us 2 delicious meals at the house. This is a very special place. I know we will return....

Heaven on earth

We stayed for 5 nights with three couples aged 33 to 79. The understated elegance and way of bringing outdoors indoors was truly breathtaking. The ease of getting to either Dominical or Uvita was so easy, the hard part was deciding where to enjoy a meal out with so many choices. We did utilize the private chef on our first night and would highly recommend. So nice to arrive and not have to figure out where to grab dinner or have to get groceries and cook. We had a rental car delivered, thanks to Ana, and the process was seamless. While we were there we participated in a mangrove boat tour, the atv tour, and zip lining. All were amazing and everyone throughly enjoyed. When we weren't out exploring we enjoyed just sitting by the pool and taking in the scenery. The bird watching from the master bedroom deck was superb! Would 100% stay again. Thanks for an amazing family vacation.

A Once in a Lifetime Trip

As soon as we turned off the road and passed through the property gate I knew this was a special place. Winding through manicured grounds, orchards, and tropical plants, one gets the impression that something exceptional is about to happen. The house, though well appointed and fully functional, is just a backdrop to the fabulous property on a 65-acre private nature preserve. While the more adventuresome young folks hiked to the waterfall nothing was lost on those who just wanted to sit by the pool, enjoy the scenery, and watch the native birds, animals, and reptiles who had free range of the property. We took several wildlife tours but other than sloths and crocodiles didn’t see much that we weren’t able to experience at the house (and without the crowds)!The house manager, Ana, was fabulous and she and her staff were very responsive to minor issues. She recommended activities and made the arrangements, had a rental car delivered, and was constantly in touch. We had Chef Koko prepare several meals and he and they were great (get the passionfruit pie!).The property is located 10-15 minutes from two small towns, Dominical and Uvita. There are great restaurants close by, and the kids enjoyed taking surfing lessons. This is a once in a lifetime kind of experience-DO IT!

Celebrating family at Lattice House

From the moment we saw Lattice House on VRBO we fell in love. Little did we know that the actual experience would surpass everyone’s expectations. We travelled with our children and grand daughter to our favorite place on earth: Costa Rica. Lattice House is a spectacular property; easy to find off Rte 34, convenient to everything but special in a way that leaves you with unforgettable memories. A special place that captivated us with all the amenities plus some that you would expect from a well managed, well maintained property. Pure Avida…we’ll be back!

My late husband and I purchased the property in 2000, and finished our retirement home in 2007. We loved the whole 3 year process of working with the Costa Rican and Balinese architects and designers and overseeing the building of our dream home. We originally planned to live there full-time, but that was before 15 grandchildren came along, and we decided to split time between Costa Rica and Houston/Galveston. Unfortunately, he did not live long after Lattice House was completed, and I decided to spend more time at my home in Galveston, near family and friends, and to share my home in Costa Rica with others who will love it as much as I do. I still get to spend about 3 months a year there--mostly in the summer when I can escape the Texas heat! I have wonderful friends there and treasure every minute I am there. We have wonderful times---hiking, swimming, boogie boarding, bird watching, and sharing wonder meals at home and in local restaurants. The picture is from a dinner at Lattice House on my trip last summer--me in the middle rear, surrounded by some of my closest Costa Rican friends who are fortunate to be full-timers, and Michael McCoy, second from the right front, from Bali, who was the primary designer and who continues to send new furnishings. Since that picture, he has had made for me beautiful new coconut dining chairs. Lattice House and Reserva de Achiote are my love, and all the rental income goes to its upkeep and improvement.

Waarom de eigenaar deze accommodatie gekozen heeft

My husband and I wanted to retire to the tropics and in the early 90's started looking in Costa Rica. We loved the idea that it was so democratic and had no army. The first place we visited in 1993 was Dominical, but at that time there was no paved road from Jaco, and we decided it was just too remote for our later years. We looked all over CR, and by the time we decided no place was as beautiful as the southern Pacific coast, the road had been paved to Quepos and there were a few crucial amenities. We spent 3 years looking at property and finally in 2000 found Achiote, the most beautiful, accessible, and private property in the area. I retired in 2005, and the next day we were on a plane to our paradise.
