Our group had a great time here. Lots of space for folks to be doing different things but still all together. Communication with the host was easy. Game room was excellent! Seems like they had everything we needed as far as kitchen and bathroom supplies. Really enjoyed our time and looking forward to coming back.

Wonderful house, perfect for our family of 7! Nice layout, awesome game room, hot tub right off the kitchen in protected deck area that was fun even in the snow. Easy check in and check out. Host was very responsive when we had an issue resulting in late check out. One of the best appointed kitchens I’ve used at any vacation rental. A fun place we would love to go back!

Great Place to Stay

This cabin is great for families. Has a game room, sauna, hot tub, and it is in a great location. We have stayed here several times. We always enjoy it and create fun memories.

Great house for Tahoe vacay

Great location, well stocked, in-home activities for all ages, hot tub, games, pinball games, fire pit, etc. Access to the Truckee pools, beach club was an awesome bonus. Easy check in, check out. Comfortable furniture.

Perfect!

What a fantastic house! Quiet, beautiful, great outdoor space. Excellent place to bring a dog (there's a gate on the back deck!). We had such a wonderful time and can't wait to be back!

Super fun weekend

The house was beautiful just as described. The owner was super responsive. The game room was super fun and the kitchen was was fully stocked with everything you need to cook. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay for a large group

This house is very large and we have plainly space for our group of 8 ( 6 adults and 2 teenagers). We really liked the hot tub and the deck very well furnished. The kitchen is also large and very well equipped. The house could have been cleaner but it was confortable.

Pre Christmas Stay

The property and owners were fantastic! We have stayed in many places on VRBO over the years but this home was definitely stocked with just about everything you needed…down to plentiful amounts of spices for cooking! The game room was excellent for the kids and even some adults that enjoy some good time fashioned pinball. Plenty of room and good location for all your Truckee and North Tahoe activities!

Winter Weather

We stayed at the property during an active winter weather event. I really appreciated the owner's suggestion and flexibility to arrive early to beat the bad weather. Once there everything went really well - driveway was plowed on schedule as was the neighborhood allowing us to take advantage of breaks in the weather (which did happen) and enjoy the area. Property was roomy with enough private spaces for us to enjoy vacationing with our adult children and their spouses.

Fully stocked Donner house

Overall we had a great stay here. Upon arrival it was very clear that the owners spend just as much time here as their guests though, so it did feel a tad unprofessional (I.e. owners personal clothes took up both closets in the master bedroom - one closet had a lock and the other was lock free but personal clothes filled both, fridge was half full of food etc), so I didn’t have anywhere to hang my clothes. However, it was a double edged sword because them staying here also meant the place was fully stocked with everything you would need during your stay. The back outdoor area was great- lots of seating and the hot tub was already set to 100 degrees so you didn’t have to wait to jump in- super nice! Bedding and towels could use a refresh (they were pretty scratchy). Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and space to spread out and relax. Washer and dryer was a nice touch too. LOVED the bathtub in the master - much much larger than most tubs! A little more attention to detail could be prioritized/a few things need fixing- curtain rod fell on me immediately upon arrival when opening kitchen slider, one window in the living room was broken. Overall happy with the house, just a little extra maintenance/attention could benefit the overall stay satisfaction.

Thank you very much for your constructive criticism Lisa. The small maintenance issues you have mentioned have been rectified and new towels are on order. Unfortunately we can not change the closet situation in the master bedroom. However, a complete dresser was available to you as well as two closets in the other 2 bedrooms. As for the 'full' fridge - most of our guests do not seem to read the note in the binder telling them to take all their food items back (including your group!) So we end up with a lot of food that we are reluctant to throw away as we do not not like to waste food. A quick note: A lot of windows were left open after your departure and several lights were left on. As it rained heavily last night the windows could have been a serious problem if left unattended. As the house overall was left in good condition we have not changed your 5 Star rating. We are sorry you did not find our house fully satisfying for your stay and hope you will find what you are looking for in another future rental. Sincerely, Anja

This place is amazing. You walk in and if feels like home! The outdoor patio was a hit! Dinners out there were fantastic. We had 8 swimmers (adults) share the house for a race and we were all very comfortable. I have already recommended the stay to other family members and friends!!

We loved this place! Spacious, lots of amenities and we love the hot tub! It’s also very dog friendly, which was great for our pups. Highly recommend and definitely would come back!

Birthday celebrations

3 families stayed at this beautiful house celebrating 3 birthdays. House was very clean with lots of room. Game room was lots of fun for the kids. Outside patios were very comfortable and relaxing. We’ll definitely be back.

Best place we have stayed

We go to Donner every summer and have always wanted to find a place where we can go back to. Until this trip there was always something different we were looking for. This place was PERFECT for our family. Super spacious and such an amazing olace to stay. My whole family said this might be the one we make memories at every year!

Comfortable luxury

We had a nice time at this property. Good food, hanging out with family, playing games and celebrating my daughters birthday. This was a very nice home. Very comfortable and all the amenities. Very family and pet friendly.

Spring trip!

Our group had an amazing time at the cabin. The place is better/bigger than we even expected. Already planning a trip back sometime within the next year! Could not figure out how to use the speakers, but will try harder next time.

Perfect for a ladies weekend

A great, comfortable, well stocked home in a beautiful neighborhood. We utilized the fire pit, jacuzzi and large table for dinners every night. Host responds quickly. We lucked out with snow twice! Highly recommended.
