Onze Riverfront Retreat ligt 15 mijl NW van Payson net onder de Mogollon Rim diep in het bos. Het is een zeer charmant huis met drie verdiepingen met twee slaapkamers op de bovenste verdiepingen en een kelder met een stapelbed en uitschuifbed. Ook een slaapbank op het hoogste niveau. (Totaal: 7 personen comfortabel). Dit huis heeft alle voorzieningen met een grote keuken, eetkamer en familiekamer. Twee badkamers (een douche en een douche / bad). Voortuin is omheind met een groot grasveld om te spelen. Achterkant van het huis heeft twee dekken. Het ene dek ligt naast de hoofdslaapkamer en het andere uit de keuken en eetkamers (vervangen in april 2019). De achtertuin loopt naar de Oost-Verde rivier die het hele jaar door loopt. Er zijn twee wandelpaden 1 mijl verderop. Ook vissen in de buurt op Waterwheel recreatiegebied. Er zijn verschillende meren waar u ook van de 260 kunt genieten. Ook de Tonto Natural Bridge is een gemakkelijke rit in de buurt voor een dagje uit. December tot februari sneeuwt het en 4WD gedurende deze tijd wordt aanbevolen. Er is genoeg te doen in huis. We hebben internet / wifi en directe tv. Geniet van tijd met vrienden en familie koken, drinken, poolen en ping pong spelen. Beschikbaar: Xbox- en Wii-machines beschikbaar. (Neem games en dvd's mee). 150 films / dvd's om uit te kiezen op onroerend goed. Amazon Alexa voor muzikaal entertainment met luidsprekers op de 1e en 2e verdieping. Dichtstbijzijnde diensten 15 mijl afstand dus breng boodschappen.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and peaceful property. The creek running through the property created the most relaxing natural soundtrack, making it the perfect place to unwind. There was plenty of wildlife to enjoy, and the surrounding walking and riding trails made it easy to get outside and explore. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with nature while enjoying a quiet, scenic setting, this is an excellent choice. We would definitely stay here again!

Another relaxing stay at the Riverfront Retreat. This is our 2nd stay here. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, drinking coffee and listening to the stream. Upgrades were made to the kitchen since our last stay. We will definitely be returning soon.

This place was truly incredible. The host was kind and quick to respond to any questions we had. The home was spotless and filled with all the little things that people tend to forget or miss, like spices and seasonings, throw blankets for snuggling, a couple stuffed animals on the bunk beds, etc. The bed we used was super comfy. The shower was hot with nice water pressure. Outside was straight out of a fairy tale. The river is down a short, easy path in the backyard. The front yard has luscious green grass. It’s simply perfect. We can’t wait to go back!

Wow! This property and home was outstanding. We enjoyed all of the wildlife and views of the river right from the back deck. We loved how peaceful the neighborhood was. We also enjoyed playing pool, darts, and ping pong. This house has everything you could ever need and more. Host was wonderful as well. We will definitely stay again.

Family vacay

Second Visit

You just cannot beat this property and the care and representation of the owners. This is my second stay there and everything you would need is available for a relaxing stay. The property and house is even better in person than in the pictures. I highly recommend the property.

Beautiful house and location!

This house was everything that was advertised and more. Very clean, and located near a lot of great hikes. The owner is very responsive. Waking up next to the creek was amazing. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic creek side property

Wonderful creek side property with many amenities! The home was beautiful and clean with many amenities, games and very thoughtful touches by the hosts to make the most of your stay.The location is perfectly located on the creek with deep pools and the relaxing sounds. The lawn area in front was perfect for outdoor games in the woods with the kids and the property is a very short distance from amazing hiking (including sections of the AZ Trail).Great escape less than 2 hours from the valley

Creekside Resort

The Perfect Getaway!

Everything was perfect.

This is one of the best vacation properties we've ever found. We loved being right next to the creek and feeding peanuts to the Stellar Jays in the morning. The house was immaculate, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. We also enjoyed a couple of beautiful hikes nearby. We hope we are able to return before too long.

Clean, fun and beautiful

Fantastic cabin! Every summer our family rents a cabin in Payson, this cabin has been the cleanest and well stocked place yet!! Kids were entertained the entire time with all the games and movies provided. Kitchen and bathrooms had everything you need and more! We all enjoyed feeding the blue jays and squirrels every morning. Truly a relaxing, stress free time at this beautiful cabin!

Weekend work retreat - amazing property!

4 of us stayed for a work retreat this past weekend for 3 nights. The house was perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. My daughter and I explored nearby trails and we all spent a lot of time on the back patio and near the river. This is truly a special place and we hope to be back. The host was very responsive.

Beautiful Home

We absolutely loved our stay and can hardly wait to come back. The home was beautifully furnished and had everything we could possibly need. The pool table and ping pong table were a huge hit for the kids and I absolutely LOVED the creek and enjoyed each of the sitting areas out in the back. Beautiful property with all the amenities

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful property. It was so comfortable, it was like being at home. We had a great time hiking nearby, playing games out front in the grassy area and traipsing around I n the creek right behind the house. This is in a wonderful area that is simply gorgeous and refreshingly cool during the heat back home in the vallley. We will be back.

Beautiful home in the woods

We went up from Phoenix to escape the heat. 3 adults and 9 kids. We all fit perfectly and had so much fun. The stream behind the house was so nice to look at and listen to. The house was very clean and had anything you could ever need. We can’t wait to go back again.

Spring Break Getaway

Perfectly located away from any major town. The house was exactly as advertised. Very quiet neighbors that made it feel like we were alone in the woods. Didn't get to play in the river since the banks were all covered in snow but we don't regret it one bit. Picturesque! Got the kids off the electronics and hiked the local trails. They loved it. Look forward to returning in the summer!

My husband and I are both Arizona natives. I am a nurse practitioner in Scottsdale. We have two grown kids and hope to have grandkids someday. We love all of Arizona and spend most of our free time here in the mountains. It is a nice change from the valley and only 1.5 hours from our home with a very different climate and relaxing atmosphere.

We love this area. It is remote and seldom traveled by many. We have been coming up here for many years with our kids and knew we had to buy a home here. We would love to share this experience with others so they too can build lasting memories. Keep in mind this is not a log cabin. Not rustic, but very nice and well maintained.

Wat deze accommodatie uniek maakt

You will enjoy that this home has central air conditioning and heat for the warm Summers and cold Winters. This home is fairly new compared to the rustic homes in the area and has all the upgrades. This charming three level home has two newer outdoor decks that overlook the creek. You will enjoy sitting out back and relaxing, while watching the kids play in the water. The home is surrounded by trees so it feels much cooler than the 20 degree difference from the Phoenix metro area.
