Dit schilderachtige huisje ligt op slechts 2 minuten lopen van het prachtige strand van Footbridge. Er zijn 2 slaapkamers, 1 badkamer, eet in keuken en woonkamer. Het huis is volledig bijgewerkt voor 2019. Inclusief een volledig vernieuwde badkamer en de volgende nieuwe toevoegingen aan het huis - bank met uitschuifbaar queensize traagschuim bed, hoofdeinden, matrassen, beddengoed, tv en wasmachine / droger. De kamers zijn allemaal pas geschilderd. Er zijn airconditioners en plafondventilatoren in elke kamer.

Er is een schuur in de tuin die is uitgerust met strandstoelen, parasols, zandspeelgoed en een strandbuggy voor gemakkelijk reizen naar het strand. Een gasgrill is ook beschikbaar voor gebruik.

Het huis heeft een queen size bed in de slaapkamer, twee aparte bedden in de tweede slaapkamer en een gloednieuwe queen size traagschuim slaapbank in de woonkamer. Het huis is geschikt voor maximaal 6 personen. Uniek kavel met afzonderlijke (vrijstaande) Cottage-suite met één slaapkamer (VRBO-lijst # 1396693) op hetzelfde perceel. Beide huizen samen huren zou geweldig zijn voor gezinnen met meerdere generaties of met vrienden. Samen kunnen de huizen plaats bieden aan maximaal 11 personen.

Gelegen in de rustige woonwijk Footbridge Beach in Ogunquit. Het huis ligt op een ideale locatie met slechts een steenworp afstand van Footbridge Beach en de getijdenrivier Ogunquit waardoor eindeloze recreatiemogelijkheden voor alle leeftijden. Breng of huur je SUP of kajak. Vis voor gestreepte bassen direct naast de voetgangersbrug of vanaf het witte zandstrand. Berijd je binnenband de rivier af met het tij. Footbridge Beach is uitgerust met toiletten.

Deze locatie geeft u toegang tot kilometerslange witte zandstrand. Neem een trolley van Footbridge Beach naar het prachtige centrum van Ogunquit om een eindeloze verscheidenheid aan winkels, galerieën en restaurants te ervaren. Bezoek Perkins Cove om een echt werkend dok te zien en de vissersboten te zien komen en gaan. Deze dorpachtige baai heeft een mix van visrestaurants, winkels en boetieks. Maak een wandeling langs de Marginal Way, een van de meest geliefde schilderachtige kustwandelingen van New England. Ervaar ongelooflijk uitzicht op de oceaan vanaf een verhard pad van anderhalve kilometer lang.

Portland, Kennebunkport, York en de Kittery Outlets zijn slechts een klein eindje rijden.

Perfect spot for our family

We stayed here for a family beach vacation. It was an easy walk to footbridge, which was great for times when some kiddos needed a nap, or someone wanted to walk the beach alone. The crab nets and the boogie board in the shed was a hit! We truly hope to stay again.

Perfect location

Cottage was perfectly sized for my family of four. Communication with the hosts was easy and we were very comfortable during our stay. Footbridge beach is a 5 minute walk away and is the best beach I have visited in Southern Maine--spacious, beautiful surf, and the June beach roses were just gorgeous. Would highly recommend and would be happy to book again!

Great vacation home

Great house! The house was well taken care of and very clean. A quick walk to footbridge beach made the week with our 2 year old very easy. Nice area to grill and some out door space. The owners responded immediately to a few of our questions. We will be back for sure!

Perfect location for a family vacation at the beach! Quiet street and just a very short walk to Foot Bridge beach and the trolley stop! We had a fabulous time, the home had everything we needed, sized just right for our family of four. Also loved the extra beach gear in the shed! A short walk to restaurants at the end of the street and short ride up the street to the center of Ogunquit! We would absolutely LOVE to return to this property again, and the owners were so sweet, helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this gem, and the cottage could not be cuter!!

My family and I enjoyed staying here for a perfect week at Footbridge beach. The owners had great communication and we had everything we needed. The location is amazing. The beach was so close. There are plenty of dining options within walking distance and the trolley stop is pretty much right out the front door, so you get to avoid all the traffic of downtown. We look forward to being able to return in the future.

Amazing

We had an amazing stay, the house was super clean and check-in/check-out was a breeze. We lucked out and had great weather and hit the beach every day, the proximity of the house to the beach is unmatched. Also, the property had PLENTY of beach chairs/beach toys etc., definitely regretted packing our own! We walked to downtown Ogunquit a few nights, which was about 20 minutes away - we even walked the beach straight down one of the nights. Just a great stay, can’t say enough good things about Steve or the property!

Perfect Location to Relax and Enjoy the Beach!

This front cottage was a perfect spot for a young family looking to stay slightly off the beaten path in Ogunquit and focus on the sand and waves at Footbridge Beach. We enjoyed the simplicity of this clean cottage, with all the extra beach needs at your finger tips - such as chairs, umbrellas, shovels, pails, etc. The homeowners were attentive and provided all the information you need for a simple and seamless get away. If we were ever to travel with a larger family group, renting both the front and back cottages would be ideal in giving family members close proximity to each other - yet a little extra vacation space too! We loved staying in this cottage and thank you to the owners for giving us a great inaugural Maine vacation!

Lovely property. Short walk to Footbridge/beach. House was clean/neat. Very well stocked with supplies renters might need. Washer & dryer. A/Cs & numerous fans. Walking. distance to at least 4 restaurants. Beautiful beach. Owners responsive. We had a very nice time and would consider this rental again in the future.

Great house but has issues

Perfect location and clean, but has a very musty smell and I did not feel well in the house. All my clothes ended up smelling like the house, which I really noticed when I got home and opened my suitcase. They have a dehumidifier running constantly in the basement. I suspect there is mold. It’s too bad because the house is adorable and the location can’t be beat and the hosts were great.

We hired All Dry to inspect the main living space of the house and cellar for mold. They completed the inspection today using mold testing equipment as well inspecting the house visually. All Dry determined that there is absolutely no mold present in the main living space of the house or the cellar. Providing a clean and safe house for our guests and family (we also stay in the house frequently throughout the year) is our number one priority.

We had a great week at this Ocean St cottage. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The proximity to Footbridge Beach was amazing. It was just a few minutes walk to the beach and another couple minutes to walk over the footbridge. The beach is beautiful and much less crowded than the main beach in Ogunquit. The cottage is away from the hectic atmosphere of Ogunquit Village and Perkins Cove. However, just an easy trolley ride will bring you to all the great restaurants and activities which Ogunquit has to offer. We have stayed in Ogunquit many times, but this is by far my favorite. I highly recommend this property!

Lovely House by the Sea

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this rental, a short walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in New England. Steve and Margi, the owners/hosts, made sure we were able to reach them if needed. Clean and very comfortable, this property is well maintained. Great restaurants nearby and lots to do in this area... We hope to return next year!

Fantastic cottage & location

I grew up in the area and this is an ideal location! Super close to Footbridge beach, so you don't have to deal with expensive parking or more crowded beaches at Ogunquit or Moody. If you don't mind a walk it's also ~20-25 min walking to the center of Ogunquit. Steve & Margi have done a great job updating the place while keeping it feeling like a beach cottage, and it was spotless.

Great Week

We spent the week WFH at Steve and Margi's cottage and had a great experience. The place was exactly as pictured/described and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was recently updated as mentioned with good water pressure. The wifi was strong and stable and the area was quiet if considering WFH. The biggest treat was proximity to the beach. We would absolutely stay there again and hopefully not work!

Our family has vacationed in Ogunquit for 20+ years and love to spend time here. Our kids grew up going to this beach every summer and having the opportunity to purchase this house in 2018 is truly a dream come true.

Come and go as you please to beautiful Footbridge beach whether its early in the morning, middle of the day or after dinner. The neighborhood is safe for kids, quiet and friendly.
