It’s a beautiful older home with lots of charm and history. It’s a very short walk to the historic district, which has something for all age groups!A full sized coffee maker would have been more convenient than the single serving Keurig, with four coffee drinkers.We would certainly stay there again.

Lovely Wendell home

Very clean and nicely furnished/remodeled historic home. Easy walk to Wendell restaurants and coffee shops. Great kitchen that was well furnished for cooking.

A great stay at the cottage

This property worked great for us. It was very comfortable, and had everything we needed to accommodate our family, including our toddler grandchild. The rooms are all very comfortable. The location is great, we were able to walk into town. We plan on staying here again.

Beautiful farm house

The home is beautiful and spacious. Perfect location for the wedding venue we were attending. The downtown area was just a few blocks away to enjoy morning coffee and get a walk in. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Thank you so much we really enjoyed our stay.

Historic Cottage

Perfect renovated cottage in a historic area that was perfect for our family and four legged family members. Minutes away from downtown and house was loaded to make our stay easy just like being at home . Amanda was great to work with ! Definitely will stay again

Family visit

This was a perfect location to visit with family in this area. There is a well stocked kitchen and even snacks and toys for the kids. The General Store is a delight with a lot of North Carolina and local made products. Their ice cream is a must! Overall a great stay.

Christmas with the family!

Nicely remodeled old home. Kitchen and bathrooms were great. Thanks to the host for the Christmas tree and decorations. It was a nice touch. We would definitely stay again.

House on the Blvd

The owner was so pleasant and attentive. She checked in with my multiple times to make sure my stay was going well. Highly recommend, will keep her name/number in my phone for when I visit again!

Highly recommend!

We were in town for my grandson’s first birthday and family came from all over the United States. The house was perfect! Very spacious, comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. Communication with the owner was fantastic! I highly recommend this house and would consider staying again if it is available!!

Extremely clean and comfortable. Only issue was it was too close to a busy road and it had no door to the backyard; we had to walk around to get to it.

Yes, historic homes are somewhat challenging on the doors, I wish there was a better solution to get to the backyard. We are just thankful that we have one! The Cottage on the Boulevard felt like home and close to all of the amentnties needed to spend some quality time with my Family in NC. The house floor plan was spacious and comfotable for me, my wife. my three boys and Rosie. would definetly rent again!

Cozy Home in Wendell

What a charming home in Wendell. Host Amanda was attentive and available for any concerns we had. The house had everything we needed. We loved sitting outside on the wrap around porch with no sun in our faces. Very relaxing! Downtown was just a few blocks away by walk (next traffic light - it is a busy road). We were in town to visit family and they were very closeby, all around worked out great! Nice area.

Good value

Great place to stay for the money. The listing of getting access to the home wasn't correct and we needed to contact the owner. She was able to get us the correct code. The wifi wasn't good but we managed. The master bedroom/bathroom doesn't get heat, so it was cooler in that area. The home is near the road and intersection so it can be loud and a little tricky leaving and entering the driveway.

Our instructions for getting into the home were correct, but the battery for the lock was not working. So I have replaced the batteries. I will double check the internet connections but there are 3 sattelites in the home to insure good coverage. I will look at the vents and see if perhaps someone closed one, but the house has natural gas heat and it often has to be turned down to 68 otherwise it feels too hot. I love our location in downtown Wendell in the historic district, and as with many historic locations, they are often on the main roads and thoroughfares. It makes it convenient to be able to walk to stores and shops, but like with most city downtown districts, it is a hopping place!

House was comfortable and accommodating for a nice family gathering! Just a few additions would have helped the stay to be more adapting. Ie; bbq utensils, Tongs, hose is cracked and leaky which we needed to clean the back yard chairs, for a family of 5 adults and 2 kids, ran out of garbage bags, paper towels and toilet paper the very first day. I feel the property manager will appreciate this tid bit of constructive criticism- REALLY happy we got to be all together in the same home! Will consider same location in future! Thank you.

I appreciate you taking time to give us some constructive criticisms. There were 2 more trashcans in the cabinet by the sink with trash bags underneath, and Maria usually leaves at least 2 extra rolls of toilet paper and paper towels in the hall closet. The crib sheets were in the master closet. Had you asked me, I could have told you where they were. I hope you saw the first aid kits, travel toothbrushes, spices, wax paper, aluminum foil, sugar, coffee, tea, and sanitary items we provide. Maria and I have worked very hard to try to think of everything and anything that someone would need. None of which is required that we do, but I hope you can see the effort we put forth to be as accommodating as possible. Just as a sidenote a 4 from your review is the equivalent of an 80, and does not give us credit or include some of the things we did over and beyond what was expected. I would be happy to extend a 15% discount for your next stay. I am sorry you had trouble finding things, but I was just a phone call and 8 minutes away and would rather had known you needed things and been able to provide them, instead of finding out after the fact and get a bad review. Renting these homes is a large part of my income as a single mother and keeping a Five Star rating is tantamount to our success. We did go over and beyond to provide immediate responses to your requests, this is what we would like to have seen in our public review and then you could mentioned these items to me privately. But I appreciate your honesty and help. I am always striving to make our rentals better!
