We regret that any guest did not have a 5 star experience and being our first bad review we will certainly try to do better in the future. Although it does not help now, if we had been notified at the start of the stay our local maintenance in Glen Arbor could have addressed and resolved most of these concerns. We have several AC units in the house, and it is disappointing to learn that one of them leaked condensation during your stay and we will certainly put in a service order now that we are aware of the issue. As for the couches it is accurate that we replaced them just before your visit and that we still had some pictures on the site showing the old couches. We have updated our site to show the new couches to prevent disappointment in the future. We had these new couches custom-made that now allow guests to use a cantilever to fold them down into a Queen bed and Twin bed in the living room for watching movies at night and couches during the day. The old couches were simply at end of life and needed to be replaced but we should have done a better job of communicating that we purchased new custom-built replacements. I feel confident in our long-term cleaning service as they have been with us a long time and they do a great job. I think overall the cabin is well reflected through pictures on the VRBO site as an accurate representation of the property our guests are renting. We of course take all criticism to heart and will try to do better in the future.
