Comfortable condo, well equipped, very clean. Our only complaint was that this unit is on the 4th floor and the one and only elevator was out of order for 12 of our 14 day stay, so we had to carry beach paraphernalia and groceries up 3 flights of stairs several times a day.

Sorry for the inconvenience with the elevator as it is unfortunate that you experienced that during your stay. In contacting the homeowners association about the issue, they are awaiting parts which take longer being in the middle of the pacific.

What a beautiful condo! We loved our stay here. We stay in a lot of condos for our family vacations and this one definately tops as one of the best. Very well stocked, beautifully decorated and super updates. The 2 queen beds for our teens/young adults was ideal as they don't fit on sofa beds anymore. Ideal location within the complex. Easy walk to the pool or beach, and peak-a-boo-views of the ocean and sunsets. We had a great time and would stay here again.

I'm a frequent traveler and this is THE BEST rental I have ever stayed at. First of all, if you forgot something, don't worry. They have EVERYTHING you could ever need. For example: first aid kit, sunscreen, aloe, toothbrush, curling iron, and a variety of coolers including ice packs. The kitchen was my favorite and included every appliance you could possibly think of. They leave a variety of spices, condiments, oil, sugar, etc. from previous guests which was extremely helpful for us. The home is professionally decorated and has high end finishes that we enjoyed, especially the dimmable lights in most rooms.Despite reading the check in instructions we stumbled to find the correct entrance and then building. The complex is very large and minimally lit.

What a slice of paradise!

This condo was perfect for our stay! My husband and I stayed with our two sons and their wives and we couldn’t have asked for a better home base. Located just across from Kamaole III beach, it was fully stocked with everything we could have needed for our trips to the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked and we were able to do quite a bit of cooking throughout the week. The beds were so comfy, and everything was just beautifully decorated. We are so thankful for Rob and Ron sharing their piece of heaven on earth with us!

Gorgeous, clean and comfortable place!

I absolutely loved this condo and everything about it! The location, the area, the amenities. The check in process, probably one of the easiest I’ve ever experienced and check in staff so nice! About the unit: it was gorgeous, just as pictured in the listing, it was clean and had many items that one wouldn’t think it would come equipped with, there is so much attention to detail in the unit it feels so welcoming (once you book and stay you will know what I mean). You can tell they have a great sense of style and fashion- very modern yet still Hawaiian vibes! When we decide for another Maui trip, we know exactly where we’ll be staying at!

Even if we washed few time daily and put some anti bugs spray(they were supply) they came back.Without these two points it is a perfect stay.

Yes, as with all units at this resort, the AC vents out onto the lanai space. To better enjoy this outdoor space we simply recommend that you turn off the AC while sitting outside. Also, as this is a tropical climate we do recommend not leaving food out to avoid unwanted visitors. As we are availavle 24/7 we would have been happy to address any of these issues during your stay. Beautifully Decorated

Very beautifully decorated condo with a well-stocked kitchen. Lots of dishes, pans, spices, etc. We appreciated the beach gear too. The grounds were well kept and very pretty. The elevator and garbage chute are very close and convenient. The mattress on the King bed upstairs was a bit lumpy and probably needs replacing. It was hard to find places to store large suitcases but otherwise everything in the condo was great. We felt very safe on the property. However, be aware there are homeless individuals who literally live on the sidewalk across the street from the property entrance. The beach parks across the street (Kamaole) were filled with *tons* of people, noise, and litter 24/7 so we chose to drive to other beaches. These issues were disappointing to us but that’s more of a reflection on the town of Kihei than this particular condo.

Construction woes

First time to Hawaii/Maui. For the most part our trip was awesome! The politeness of the people, the fun excursions were awesome, the beach was fantastic across from the unit. But unfortunately we got the pleasure of being woke up to demolition on the unit next to ours for two days. Nobody disclosed this was going to happen. The noise was unbearable and we were unable to stay in the unit during those days from 9 am till 4 pm. The property manager was quick to respond but unable to do anything about it other than a small refund, less than one day stay there. They were unaware this was going to happen however the building owners knew and said it had been scheduled for months. We are guessing the owners of the unit knew but decided to rent it anyway, not ok in my book. If not for the construction I would give 5 stars. The property was amazing! The unit was clean and beautifully decorated and very well stocked with appliances, dishes, paper products, etc.

The location is as close to Wailea as you can get (less than a mile if you walk across the beaches), without the Wailea costs. We spent our time exploring beaches as well as Haleakala NP and other island hiking destinations and this was really as centrally located to all of it as you can get. Less than 1/2 an hour from the airport, an hour from Lahaina and Kaanapali, 40 minutes from Pa'ia (the start of the Road to Hana), and 90 minutes from Haleakala NP Summit. I have no further comments about the property itself because it's exactly as described. It was beautiful, clean, well stocked, and well maintained. A 3 minute walk across the resort to the beach. Keep in mind that not all properties are alike. Another family traveled with us and stayed next door in 7-405, a property managed by a DIFFERENT COMPANY, and their experience was much much different from ours. The unit is the same size and it's slightly cheaper per day, but day 2 of our trip their refrigerator went out, day 3 their AC stopped working. There wasn't enough warm water to get through 1 shower, and there was no WiFi. They were offered a $100 refund at the end of the trip (which didn't even begin to cover the cost of groceries that spoiled) rather than resolving any of the issues during the stay, even though maintenance workers were in and out of the unit, leaving behind tools and footprints but never fixing anything. PMI Maui is the way to go, whether you stay at Kamaole Sands 7-404 or another property they manage.
