Deze grote ruime 4 slaapkamers, 2. 5 bad huis is gelegen tussen twee stranden en omgeven door 6 hectare prachtige Door County bossen in een zeer rustige hoek van onze provincie. Geniet van je tijd weg van de drukte en drukte bij de vuurkorf, een wandeling door het bos of neem een ​​mooie 1/2 mijl wandeling naar beneden naar de waterkant in beide richtingen. Comfortable and family friendly

The property is well maintained. The location in the woods is pretty. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. And the beds! The beds were sooo comfortable! We spent three nights and found it was a good location to venture from to see the sights of Door County.

I was primarily looking for some peace and quiet and found it here. The house interior was clean with a minor exception. The coffee maker was completely disregarded. I found moldy grounds that were clearly there for a long time. The only other issue was that the ice maker wasn't working. There is wifi and streaming service available. You can use the free servicesincluded or connecttosome of the popular services using your own credentials. It worked as expected. Outside was mostly what you might expect for a home in the woods. The only relatively major complaint was the gas grill. It had not been cleaned in months and was seriously disgusting. The grill was covered in old food debris and rust, not to mention covered in dead bugs. Grilling out is part of the vacation experience so I was very disappointed at the lack of preparation for this rental.

We apologize for missing the coffee grounds - I did offer to to replace the machine immediately it but that offer was declined and said it wan't a big deal. If we would've been told about the grill we would've absolutely been out there in a jiffy to clean it up for you! Woodsy retreat

It was a comfortable place for our family to stay while exploring Door County. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. It was easy to make a meal and spend time together here while still having our own spaces. The firepit and yard wasn't all that user friendly for us but we weren't here that much for evenings to try it out anyway

Friends long weekend trip 2023

Property very private and surrounded by beautiful woods. Saw a doe and twin fawns in the yard. House was very clean, but was musty smelling upon arrival. Started the dehumidifier and it help. A short drive to Sturgeon Bay and not a bad drive to all parts of Door Co. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. House could have had more towels and kitchen supplies.

Beautiful Door County

It was so nice to be immersed in the woods with color all around us. The house came with all the necessary amenities, but our second and last evening was marred by a broken cable preventing the use of our phones, computers and tv since cell service is also poor. The rental manager responded quickly but the cable provider did not come until after we left the next day. We are hoping an adjustment will be made to our rental fee.

Sassy in the sticks

Outside of house is dated & marginal. Certainly looks like rental property, back yard is a swamp but potential for good wildlife. Kinda junkie as there is abunch of old boards. Door handle on pation door kept coming off allweekend. Inside was nice. Dishes, pots pans are sporatic but available. Beds are VERY comfortable!.A little surprised that the cleaning was so costly as there is noted dirt on door jams/walls, not sure that floors were actually clean but rest of the house was clean. Lock box for the key was not working properly but the key was available. Kelly was awesome, certainly very responsive to any questions or issues. It was nice that wood for the fire was available too! Great weekend with friends and a good celebration.

The property was absolutely amazing and beautiful. The house was very clean and accommodated our family. The owner of the property even went above and beyond to accommodate our family which we greatly appreciated! If your looking for a quiet place in the outdoors this is definitely the place for you!!

Wedding Weekend

We shared this home with my parents for a long weekend while celebrating my brother’s wedding. The large kitchen was perfect for gathering and eating and had all of the dishes and utensils we needed. The living room furniture actually seemed updated from the photos, very comfortable couches. All four beds were in decent shape and the linens were very soft and comfortable.

Secluded and Spacious Door County Spot

Tucked away in the Southeast part of Sturgeon Bay in Door County, WI this home is spacious with room for a large family or group of friends. The area is quiet and secluded in the woods, there are other homes close by but you won't feel it. There's a propane grill out back that works great and the house has a full kitchen, plenty of plates and mugs, pots and pans, but you might need to bring some wine glasses. Enough parking out front for at least 4 cars if needed. Just 15 minutes from downtown Sturgeon if you run out of anything. This is an old family home, much like you would have if you visited an older uncle or grandparents. Furnishing and fixtures are dated but comfortable and clean. Beds are comfortable and the house is warm (we stay in October and the weather was in the upper 30s low 40s). Showers are clean, water pressure good, and plenty of hot water (a concern with six adults). One recommendation would be to change the showerhead in the bath at the top of the stairs, there's a bit of calcification making the spray a little rough. The backyard has space, but there are things by a toolshed and some wood covering what might be an old cistern, just something to be mindful of if you have little kids running around. All in all, what we were looking for during a quick weekend in Door County.

Great getaway from real life

Great for a getaway, no cell service so no one will be on their phone. Definitely outdated style and furniture is not all perfect but for the money it is by far the best in door county.

Quiet and peaceful

This would be a great property for several families to share. The problem was that one of our party needed internet to work briefly each day. The property boasts internet connection but even when the property manager brought us a new router, the internet service was not strong enough to have a signal. You could connect to their router but you could not connect to any website. To me, that means there was no internet available. I strongly suggest VRBO require that amenity be removed from the advertised amenities for this property. The location won't have service without a major upgrade. As long as you do not need internet or cell phone service, the property is excellent.

Quiet Neighborhood close to the lake!

The house is plenty large for your whole family. Very large kitchen and eating space. Plenty of seating in the living room as well. House is in a very quiet neighborhood within walking distance of some incredible lake views. Furnishings and decorations are older. Beds and bedding seem new and are very comfortable. There was no wi-fi and cell coverage was very limited based on carrier (AT&T did not work at all, Verizon limited), but makes for plenty of time to focus on family instead of technology! Home needed a good spring cleaning, but bedding and towels were fresh. Plenty of hot water very quickly, but the kitchen sink faucet isn't working right and caused loud water hammer noise whenever trying to use it. Overall we had a very nice stay.

We apologize for the faucet noise, we thought we had that fixed- we will look into it further! During May Fly season, spring cleans look like that never even happened.
