Deze 58 voet Fun Country woonboot is een unieke ervaring voor wie op zoek is naar een privéoase op het water. Met state-state tegenover het pand, ga voor een kajaktocht door een vogelparadijs vol met waterlelies. We hebben deze woonboot onlangs gerenoveerd en zijn verheugd om hem te delen met een groot gezin, twee kleine gezinnen of iets daartussenin. De woonboot moet tijdens uw verblijf aangemeerd blijven en is niet te berijden, maar er is een kleine boothelling en ruimte om uw eigen kleine vaartuig aan te leggen.

Deze woonboot heeft een mooie grote gemeenschappelijke ruimte met een prachtige nieuwe keuken uitgerust met potten en pannen, kookgerei, een magnetron afzuigkap, groot formaat oven bereik en een grote koelkast / vriezer. Er is voldoende eethoek met een grote eettafel en aanrechtkrukken. Het heeft 3 slaapkamers met 4 queensize bedden en beschikt over 1 1/2 baden, waaronder een douche en een boiler van 30 gallon om ervoor te zorgen dat uw douches warm zijn.

Daarnaast heeft deze woonboot comfort zoals airconditioning, een barbecue en buiten dineren op het bovendek. Wij bieden beddengoed, badhanddoeken en badhanddoeken. Het pand waar de woonboot is aangemeerd biedt extra ruimte voor tenting of een kampeertrailer en ruimte voor vreugdevuren en andere buitenactiviteiten.

Great Setting

The house boat was fairly well appointed. Towels (both bath and beach) were clean and plentiful. Other item provided like dishes, silverware, cooking equipment and utensils were perfect for the stay. In addition, all the little things you don’t always think of - paper goods, spices, salt & pepper, ziplocks, storage s containers - was all there. We loved the setting on the river which, even though bit was a holiday weekend wasn’t too busy. Plenty of space on boat to spread out and relax and the space on shore Uber the trees was great for yard games, fire pit and lounging. We did some fishing, grilling out, s’mores, played in the water and just relaxed. Only real complaint was that we felt the boat was a little underpowered. The refrigerator took a long time to cool things, microwave took a long time to heat things, toaster was a very slow and A/C wasn’t quite able to keep up - though it was over 90 degrees the entire time we were there. Randy and Tami were exceptionally nice and helpful.

We recently made some changes to how the A/C units are powered on the boat. They are now powered directly from the outside electrical box and not through the houseboat electrical panel so that has fixed the power issues in the boat. Perfect COVID Vacation

My family usually camps but was uncertain of doing that in these uncertain times. This was the perfect place for us. We stayed three nights which was the perfect amount of time for our 4 year old, 7 year old and 9 year old. The on property fire pit with provided wood was perfect for camp cooking. The kitchen in the boat had everything we needed for our stay for when we didn't want to camp cook, it is well supplied with dishes, cookware, coffee maker, toaster, oven/stove, and condiments. The living area is spacious and the top deck of the boat is a fun place to spend time. I was somewhat worried about our four year old leaving the boat without a grown up but he was too short and the latches too complicated for him to get out which was a plus for us. The bedrooms are small but they worked well for us. This place is secluded which we enjoyed. Our kids had so much fun playing in the water, they tried kayaking, we went on a canoe ride, they swam, played on tubes we brought, and the oldest two enjoyed the water slide. They were able to forget about COVID and relax and have fun just being kids. This is a great vacation place for those who like to be in nature.

Fall Getaway

We loved our long weekend on the boat! The beds were comfortable, the boat was well stocked, and the owner was super nice and accommodating. We had so much fun using the canoe and kayak, did some fishing, grilling, and lots of cards and games with the kids. In short, we loved it. It was a perfect little getaway for us and the kids. Lots of laughs and relaxing.

Relaxing get away

The house boat is what we needed. Clean rooms and bathrooms. You can find anything you need in the kitchen (and more!) The only comment would be the microwave doesn’t heat up food as it should but besides that everything was great! Thank you for the welcome basket that was a lovely detail! Since it rained we couldn't enjoy the upper deck as much but inside we had plenty of space to play cards! We are definitely returning next year in a much warmer month! Looking forward!

Needs some more TLC

Based on the photos and description of this property we were expecting way more than what we got. The location is great and we had a wonderful time on the river. However, the houseboat itself disappoints: lack of cleanliness, water pressure issues (even after following the owner's instructions), and the general sense of renovations not quite finished (there's a bowl on a chair in the living area in case the roof leaks). We had a couple safety concerns too. There is no handrail or ramp to get on/off the boat. Instead there is a small step stool screwed to the dock. Not ideal for small children, the elderly, or anyone that's had a few drinks. The waterslide is treacherous looking, and there was a large hornet's nest on the top deck which the owners should have noticed. We bought spray and tried to take care of that ourselves. Lastly, the boat was not securely moored. A storm came through on our last night and the back end of the boat broke free, ran into the trees on the shoreline, and tore a rail off the upper deck. This could be a unique and terrific vacation spot once these issues are addressed and additional work is done to the houseboat. A little more TLC is needed, please.

We're quite shocked that none of these issues were communicated to us, so we didn't have an opportunity to fix them. We always tell guests to PLEASE let us know if they have any issues. You did let us know about the boat handrail getting broken and we felt terrible about that. The one line that broke in the storm has been replaced with a chain so the boat is secure. All other guests have described our houseboat as well appointed and clean, so honestly we're not sure what you were expecting. Our cleaning crew was shocked to find cleanliness issues after your stay....best to leave them unnamed.

Perfect!

My husband and I rented this charming houseboat for six days and there was not a part of our vacation we didn't love! Tami was so sweet and the boat was just what we were looking for. Yes we were in the middle of the woods so there were mosquitoes but bug spray quickly took care of those. The boat was fully stocked and very clean. Our favorite space was the top deck. It does get very dark at night so my only suggestion would be to add some type of lighting up there. Other than that we have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend this property to any nature lovers.

Private peace and quiet.

Wonderful remote getaway. Great property with a ton of trees to relax by the fire pit. My favorite spot was the large upper deck! Great for watching the boaters and just listening to the birds!

WONDERFUL CLEAN PRIVATE STAY ON A HOUSEBOAT!

This was a great property. The houseboat was on a big piece of private land. The houseboat was fabulous, clean, well maintained and very roomy. It was only my daughter and myself, but 8 people could stay there with plenty of room. It was very well stocked with towels, washclothes, beach towels (the biggest nicest beach towels I've ever seen), toiletries, etc. Lots of things to do there. Loved sitting on the rooftop enjoying the views. Highly recommend, this rental. Owners are very accomodating, and strive to make your stay wonderful.

Unique experience on a cute boat

Owners are very very nice and still tweaking this rental but the boat is very nicely decorated and has everything you need for your stay. Similar to staying in an RV but the location is amazing. Great area across the river to kayak. We spent a lot of time on the rooftop deck. This is closer to camping then a five star hotel but such a cute place and a unique experience.

We are a family of four including two rambunctious boys. We were looking for a vacation spot for our own family that was 100% private and peaceful because one of our boys has special needs. We bought these 7 acres of wooded property on the Grand River and then purchased a houseboat to dock next to the property. Our family LOVES the tranquility of this houseboat, which is across from state land and a quick kayak or canoe ride to bird sanctuaries, lily pads, etc. We LOVE sharing this property with others!!
