Oceanfront - zonnig van binnen en van buiten!

Mis deze kans om vakantie te vieren in dit vakantiehuis aan de oceaan met een fris interieur en exterieur. Een paar stappen op de loopbrug over de duinen en je tenen zijn in het zand. Uitzicht in alle richtingen vanuit de fris ingerichte woonkamer! Nieuw ingerichte keuken met roestvrijstalen apparaten, granieten aanrecht en elk bord, glas, bestek, pot en pan die u nodig hebt om een geweldige maaltijd te bereiden! Grote eettafel om van uw maaltijd te genieten terwijl u uitkijkt op de oceaan. Hardhouten vloeren. Master oceaan-gerichte slaapkamer met eigen badkamer en een eigen balkon, stapelbed kamer met half bad en slaapkamer op hoofdniveau met toegang tot grote badkamer op hoofdniveau met full-size wasmachine en droger. Alle nieuwe bedden in elke kamer. Warm en koud water buitendouche.

Voldoende ruimte voor parkeren en / of rondhangen onder het huis. 1 mijl wandeling naar het einde van het eiland en 1 mijl naar het centrum van eiland restaurants en festiviteiten.

We verlaten ons tweede huis altijd ontspannen en energiek. Laat ons onze rustgevende retraite met u delen!

Always amazing!

We have loved our stays at Sunny Side Up! The house is a pictured. The location is fantastic! Easy check in/ check out process, owner is very quick to respond to messages. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Highly recommend!

Awesome week/ great beach

Check-in process was simple and easy and the house was clean as advertised. This house served our needs but the kitchen could use more pans/utensils. Layout could be changed to allow better flow. Electric seemed to need some updating also. Otherwise it was a great house with a nice deck area and the beach access was super easy!

Another fantastic stay

We've stayed here the last 3 years and it's still amazing. Communication with the owner is easy and prompt. The cleaning crew does a fantastic job - the house was spotless when we arrived. There are so many "extras" here - towels, hangers, fans, cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, etc. This is an amazing property and we look forward to staying for many years to come.

We were very pleased with this house. Kitchen was well equipped. Quiet end of the island which was perfect. Beach, bike riding and fishing. The owner was very responsive. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!

Sunny Side Up is the perfect beach house! It easily accomodated our family of 4 (2 adults & 2 teenagers) with plenty of space to spare. The kitchen was well equipped. You couldn't ask for a more perfect beach location. We loved the private walkway and the views from any of the ocean facing windows/decks were stunning! We will definitely be returning!

Great week at the beach... would stay again!

The house was in a GREAT location and perfect for our needs. LOVED the beach front view and deck.The kitchen was well stocked — including sharp knives for cooking! I cooked almost every meal and the kitchen was great. We rented a gas grill which was easy and affordable -- there are a few local places. They also have 2 mini fridges in the dinning area which were great for water, soda and wine. The deck had plenty of chairs to watch the waves. Loved the upper deck! Great house would rent again if we were back in Holden Beach.

Amazing again

This is our 2nd year at Sunnyside Up and it was as great as the first year. The host is very communicative and prompt with questions/concerns. The property is as good as it looks in the photos and has plenty of amenities for everyone. The location is perfect - most of the time, there was nobody on the beach in front of the home - it felt like our own personal beach. We have already booked next year here again - we love the property and it feels like our home away from home for a couple weeks a year. Give this property a try - you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful beach home full of charm and everything you need to prepare meals and relax. We especially loved the very close access to the beach and the beautiful porch. Host Jan was very attentive to our needs and checked in to make sure we had arrived safely and all was as expected.

Loved this home!!

We spent Thanksgiving at the beach for the first time ever this year. Even though it was cooler, we really wanted to say right on the beach. I selected Sunny Side Up because of just that and she did not disappoint! The sand and sea are practically the back yard! If you love all the sites and sounds of the ocean, then I highly recommend this home! Communication with the owners was perfect and more than timely! The check-in process was super easy and there were no issues with the home upon arrival or stay. The house is very well appointed with everything that you would need for a vacation. We basically had to bring ourselves, personal items and food. There is plenty of room for parking, covered and uncovered. And although there was no expectation of this being a truly handicap assessable home, I wanted to mention that the only access is stairs in the front of the house and at the back of the house that lead up to the porch or deck. We were able to navigate this with my disabled son with team effort. His wheelchair was able to navigate through the house/decks with no issues. The large sofa and dining table, along with the two extra refrigerators (larger dorm size), was perfect for our family gathering and all the extra drinks and food from the holiday! The kitchen has everything needed. There is also an outdoor picnic table and outdoor shower area is nice and private. The decks are a good size with plenty of seating and an amazing view of sunrises and sunsets. 10/10

Perfect Vacation

This was our second time staying at this immaculate, well stocked, oceanfront, home. Perfect for a smaller family or group, it has two bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds, and a smaller room with bunkbeds. The upstairs queen bedroom has a small balcony overlooking the ocean. There is also a brand new completely enclosed outdoor shower. Two full bathrooms on first and second floors plus a small lavatory in the smaller bedroom gives everyone plenty of privacy! I would not hesitate to rent this property again!

Wonderful

We had a great time at Sunny Side Up. This was our 2nd stay on Holden Beach, but the first time in this rental. Everything was perfect and just as described. We typically rent larger places with another family, but they were unable to go this year, so we needed a place with only three bedrooms. We didn't feel cramped at all and the 2 1/2 baths were a huge plus! The beach was busy, but every group had a front row seat with plenty of space. The location of the house is great. I cannot think of anything that we needed that wasn't provided. Jan was a great host and answered all questions. If we go back again with our smaller group, we'll return to Sunny Side Up for sure. Thank you for a great stay!!

The best beach house!

We loved our stay at Sunny Side Up! The house was perfect for our family. My mother stayed in the downstairs room, my two boys loved the bunk beds, and my husband and I loved the upstairs room with its own private balcony. The house came with sheets and towels that were so soft and comfy, not at all like the ones you have to rent for other houses. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had a lot of great extras like beach towels and blankets. The outdoor shower was very nice and the hot water heater did a great job keeping up with all of us showering around the same time. The owner was a great communicator and took care of any problems we had right away. We can't wait to come back to this house again!

Great place to stay!

This was our second year here and we love this house! It is just the right size for us and right on the beach! Very clean and Jan is very quick to respond when reaching out about any questions or issues you may have. During our stay we had three different turtles come up and lay eggs! Back deck is great to relax and look at the beach. Our kids loved watching the turtle watch staff locate/mark off the eggs. We always look forward to our stay there!

Fantastic!

We spent 2 weeks here and our stay was amazing! The listing was accurate and everything was as described. As soon as we walked in, this felt like our home and not just a rental. The house was clean and neat and fully stocked with everything we needed. There was nothing we found missing and had to buy. We ate every meal at the house and the kitchen was more than equipped for that - numerous pans, utensils, dishes, etc. There were also a lot of personal touches present - extra beach towels by the door, some sand toys, and games, books, and puzzles. The storage room near the parking area is FULLY stocked with whatever you need: umbrellas, sun shades, bikes, water toys, chairs, even charcoal for the on-side Weber kettle grill. Covered parking for one car was a bonus and greatly appreciated. The location of this house is perfect - it is far enough away from the public access points that the only people setting up in front of you are the nearby renters. Access to the beach is literally steps from the back door and the views are amazing! Communication with Jan was excellent and all my questions were quickly answered. Jan is a top notch host! Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay in Holden Beach and we didnt' want to leave. We are already booking our trip for next year and returning back to the same place - nothing else compares!

Excellent home for our week at the beach!

This oceanfront beach house was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 1 teenager. The kitchen was particularly noteworthy--while modest in size, it was extremely well-equipped. It was far better equipped than any kitchen I have previously experienced in a rental beach house. The living area was very functional for our group. The queen beds were very comfortable. The 2 and 1/2 bathrooms were not luxurious, but nice, and more than met our needs. Nice decks on two levels and easy access to the beach. All-in-all, an excellent rental property! We were very glad we chose to spend the week at Sunny Side Up.

Great cottage and great location!

“Sunny Side Up” is a great cottage! Everything you need for a restful vacation is already at the cottage, including bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas and grill. Kitchen is fully stocked! Cottage has recently been updated, and is very pretty and clean. Owner, Jan, is the absolute best to work! Will definitely rent this cottage again!
