I hosted my 30th birthday at this accommodation and everything was wonderful! All guests were comfortable, the house was clean, and the hosts were great to work with. Haley helped coordinate a catered meal, golf cart rentals, and offered so much help throughout the planning and during the trip itself.

Our party of 10 had a very comfortable stay at the Blue Dolphin. The house was clean, comfortable and had amazing views. THe onsite hosts were available to assist with all our needs. Prior to arrival, recommendations of travel to and from the island, around the island, restaurants and things to do was very helpful. Would return again!

Amazing location, beautiful home. Caretakers were spectacular. We literally couldn’t have had a better time. Such a great experience for our group of 14. Looking forward to coming back. Host was wonderful and very quick to respond to anything we could need.

Owners Greg and Casey were incredible hosts, as were Gloria & Armondo! Gloria and Armondo cooked our fresh-caught fish - incredible!!! House worked perfectly for five couples, each having our own bathrooms, etc. Pool was awesome, town close by…. Fabulous vacation!!!

We just spent (1) at Blue Dolphin, Feb 2026, with 5 couples total. The house was perfect size, beautifully maintained, as well as the grounds. Gloria and Armando were the best. Haley, the property manager, was very responsive and helpful, too. The beds were all very comfortable and Gloria and Armando checked in on us every day. It’s about 15-20 minute golf cart ride from downtown San Pedro, and 20 minutes to Secret Beach. We will be there again.

Blue dolfhin was truly a wonderful place to stay with our family. All of us had a great time. Highly recommend for family’s. The staff was excellent and helpful. All of Dr Mark’s trips he recommended we’re excellent! Most excellent stay!

An UnBelizable Stay

Our family gathered in Belize to celebrate my husband’s recent retirement. We spent hours in the pool and couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay.

The review our June 15th guest sent to us personally.... Dr. Mark, We are still on the island after some of our family returned home and we moved to a smaller house. I can not express how meaningful our stay at The Blue Dolphin was to our family. Hours of pool time, even in the pouring rain, dinners provided by Corrina, snorkeling and diving with Jose, Ali and Azie, whom we now count as friends, and great fishing with Tino. Connecting us with all these guys and Abner was a huge plus. Thank you!! Then there is Eswin and Corrina. What jewels of people!! They helped in many ways which was greatly appreciated. This was the first experience our grandchildren have had out of the US and they made lifetime memories. Thank you for being part of those. Warm regards, Pam

Great Family Getaway

We had a great family vacation at the Blue Dolphin with several adults and children aged 7-14. The pool was an amazing sanctuary from the heat and the house has great access to the water and is well positioned between downtown and Secret Beach. Thanks to the homeowner and caretakers for all of their assistance in making our first stay in Belize a memorable one.

Wonderful vacation in paradise

Mark and his managers, Gloria and Armando, were attentive and helpful in all ways: advice on trips to take, transportation , and much more, so that our stay was comfortable, relaxing and exciting. They even surprised me with a birthday cake and sparklers. The house is lovely. The bedroom air conditioners work well, The pool is clean and lovely. We highly recommend staying at Blue Dolfin!

The Blue Dolphin was perfect for our group of 8. The view was amazing, hanging out in the pool overlooking the water was ahhhhmazing. The host was so helpful and responsive before and during our stay and we all had a fantastic time. Highly recommend.

We had a great time! The house easily and naturally accommodated the 5 couples and it was so nice that each room had its own bathroom! Steve and Esme were amazing in making our time there easy and fun! And Dr Marks suggestions for tours and such were spot on!

The Blue Dolphin was everything we wanted for our vacation. 10 of us stayed comfortably and easily! Esmerelda and Steve were helpful and always available! We would highly recommend the Blue Dolphin!

From reading what you wrote in your review it sounded like everything was perfect but I have to say we were a little disappointed in the 4 star rating and am wondering what we could have done better for you? In our 22 years of sharing our home we have received only 2 "non 5 star" ratings. I just looked thru all of the numerous emails we shared, 33 to be exact, and i believe I was attentive to all of them....doing everything from arranging your transfers, arranging golf carts and tours, answering all of your ?s about discounted air fare, covid and govt regulations and even allowing you to check in early. Any input would be much appreciated Thanks for choosing the Blue Dolphin! We are so glad you loved it!! Mark 😎 Jenny: Hello, Dr. Mark, There was nothing that stood out as I think a 4 star rating is excellent! I rarely give a 5 star rating for anything but please do not be alarmed as everything was excellent as far as we are concerned! Thank you for everything!! Dr Mark: Well ...excellent means 5 star. Sorry to bother you with this. It's just that we really put ourselves out for our guests and maintain a very expensive 2 million $ property as best we can. We enjoy doing that for our guests. A 4 star rating with VRBO significantly lowers our standings and things are just sooo competitive out there. We are still recovering from our net "0" 2020-21 covid catastrophe. The property is as advertised. The owner and staff are very helpful. If you are a true beach lover this is not for you but the pool, dock and grounds are perfect. We stayed here with 5 couples, lots of room and or privacy if needed.

Just got lucky!

First trip to Belize and ambergris Caye and didn’t know if we should stay in San Pedro or South or North or ??? Blue Dolphin was like hitting the lottery. An amazing owner/host, onsite caretakers who will do anything you need, and a property that was perfect for privacy, amenities and Location!!

Best ocean breeze & location !

We had an amazing stay at The Blue Dolphin! Great location…. Not too far from San Pedro & not too far from Secret Beach. Such a nice ocean breeze and so peaceful sitting outside in the mornings! The pool was great and so was the pier (best coffee drinking spot). Steve & Esme were so nice and helpful. Dr. Mark (host) had great excursion recommendations and we had such a great time. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic stay at the Blue Dolphin for our family of 9, ranging from 10-77. Dr. Mark could not have been more responsive and helpful, offering valuable recommendations and ideas. The on-site caretakers (and their friendly dog Lassie) were so kind and a pleasure to be around each day. The house was immaculate, the beds were comfy, the pool was refreshing, and having a dock right there for pick-ups for excursions made it so easy to explore. The location was just far enough from the noise and traffic, but close enough to get great meals each day. Our only regret was going with the cheaper golf carts instead of the company that Dr. Mark recommended!

Vintage 60th Celebration

The Blue Dolphin was everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. Our group came to the beautiful island to celebrate 60th birthdays and could not have been happier with the accommodations, the property and the care takers. Being our first time to San Pedro we couldn’t have asked for more. Dr. Mark was so helpful with suggestions and assistance with arrangements for taxi service and golf cart rental. We would highly recommend Blue Dolphin to all and would stay again if we return to San Pedro.
