We're very sorry that it was too much for you. Fortunately they are the proper height risers and treads and have a sturdy handrail. Hopefully you can try one of our other places someday that have fewer steps.

Thank you for booking one of our properties for your visit to our beautiful area! Our gorgeous and very hilly terrain are great but yes, stairs to get from your car to the house as well as up to 3 of the 4 bedrooms. Definitely not for anyone who has trouble with steps. Handy location right in town for folks that like to walk to local establishments.

Thanks for booking with us, Erika. We have many guests that book this house who are train enthusiasts! Anything located directly along the Great River Road is also along the railroad tracks (including our busy motel). It's not for everyone for sure. We also have properties up higher up in the blufftops that overlook the river and are not near the railroad. They're not quite as budget friendly as our Shoreview Cottage. Hopefully we can host you at one of them someday. We appreciate your business.

I am so pleased with the responses to the screened room that we have received, it is so nice to get out of the burning sun, rain and sometimes the.bugs, but not be cooped up inside, when you are.gathered with fronds and family! It is also a delight for train enthusiasts to be able to observe with comfort!
