Het bungalowhuis uit de jaren '50 is gezellig met handgemaakte quilts, originele schrijfmachinekunstwerken en echte handmatige typemachines die u kunt gebruiken! Het is een leuke geschiedenisles in het historische district van de oudste stad van de Mississippi.
Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Volledige keuken met magnetron, gasfornuis en koelkast en alles wat u nodig heeft voor maaltijden, kleine maar complete badkamer, mooi uitzicht, rustige en niet-omheinde tuin.
Kinderen en huisdiervriendelijk +22 per nacht per kind of huisdier! ;)

Peaceful
Two friends looking for a quiet getaway - we knew when we opened the door we had found it. This 50s home with quilts reminded us of grandmas house. We relaxed and enjoyed the absence of the television. Driving around, looking at the historic buildings of Saint Genevieve was enjoyable. And .. we did get a little exercise in while playing ping-pong in the basement.😀

No TV
This was our first VRBO booking. Clean, quiet and cozy. Didn't think that a TV was an added amenity to put in my requirements. So we made the best of that part. Allowed the two of less distracted time. But required us to go to a sport's bar to see the Blues game. Ended up at Dannie's - Very nice!!!

Great Place for Quilting
We loved this unique property. It was perfect for the two of us. We were close enough to go into town in the morning but come back in the afternoon for some quilting and then turn around & go back to town for supper. The typewriter theme was fun. Plenty of clean towels & washclothes. We attended Pecanapolousa and went to the Memorial Cemetary for an evening of walking in the dark listening to some stories about the people buried there. Great fun!

Made a quick weekend trip to visit family and this was the perfect place. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, quiet neighborhood and close to downtown. The typewriter theme throughout the home prompted fun and nostalgic table talk during meals. The handmade quilts were works of art and showcased the craftsmanship beautifully.

House should have been aired out longer. Bedding was very comfortable.
I began thinking it would be a great getaway. Host called the day before check out & indicated we had to check out due to another booking. We had paid thru Saturday. We suggested to host to communicate with the other party & we would check out as paid & scheduled. Sort of ruined last full day...not!

Forget Skype let's type!
We enjoyed the Type Inn. It is a lovely home that reminded us of homes we had been in years ago. The front outside sitting area was good for star gazing. Bowser loved the wall to wall carpeting!

This was a very quaint home. Nice quiet area. It was very clean and cutely decorated with vintage typewriters and books. I would stay here again.

Second Time at Type Inn and Loved it!
Home is in a beautiful setting, walked into Ste. Geneviève, had Sirro’s and Stella and Me for Yummy food, Pickle Springs and Hawn State Park are scenic hiking/walking in the area. The lot and home offer privacy and it was another great stay there. The typewriters and their history make for enjoyable reading and seeing.

This charming cottage (in the 17c. French town first European town west of the Mississippi River) has its own typewriter history. Easy walk to the historic downtown. Great hiking in beautiful Hahn State Park easy drive away. Host is super helpful. Cottage has everything you need for a quiet getaway in a quaint rivertown.

Relaxation time!
Loui was a wonderful host! Prompt, attentive to any need. The Type Inn is filled with vintage typewriters and beautiful quilts. Location is close to historic district. We loved our peaceful, relaxing stay.
