Overall our stay wasn’t terrible but there were some huge inconveniences we encountered: None of the bathrooms had toilet paper on the roll holders and none of them were equipped with even basic hand soap. This was incredibly frustrating after a long drive and when we had already been to town to get groceries. The property management company eventually dropped off a bag of replacement rolls and basic bar soap, but at that point we had already had to go out again and get these basics. Additionally, the ice maker wasn’t working and we were told someone would come by to look at that but that never happened (or if it did while we were out, no one called to check on us and say they were there). Blinds covered in dust, filmy glassware and crusty dishes were just the cherry on top.
It seems like this company skimps on the basic comforts for guests, which is interesting given the long list of chores guests are meant to do (sweeping and vacuuming regularly, emptying trash bins, running dishwasher and drying all dishes and glassware before leaving, etc) on top of a cleaning fee.
So again, not a terrible stay but these inconveniences only compounded our frustrations.
