What a wonderful stay! Victoria was incredibly communicative and a great host! The house was clean, with very well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The back yard is peaceful and lovely. Everything was within waking distance. The house is small and rooms and kitchen close together so it meant we had to be very quiet since we had children with us. Just something to note if you're a family staying here. Highly recommend this property for a comfortable stay in Durango!

We really enjoyed our stay. I like the way an older home was tastefully updated the older home with modern touches. Things like recessed lighting, newer fixtures, soft-close drawers, etc. were all nice touches.Victoria was a fabulous host, and very responsive, both proactively and alse answering any questions.We'll mark this on our short list of places to stay in Durango.

Book this home! We spent a month here and would have easily stayed longer. Victoria was the perfect host, taking care of all the details of a homestay. Our side of the duplex was the right fit for the 2 us and a few friends who stopped in throughout the month. The back yard was the perfect private outdoor setting. The location was also ideal - easy to walk to town. We will miss our home away from home.

It was what we needed.Clean neat home w large relaxing private back yard. We used the grill, all the utensils we needed for that were there.Terry cloth robes were a nice touch of home.Victoria the owner was attentive and caring.Walked the sky steps nearby based on her home notebook recommendation. That was one of many highlights of our trip to Durango.We would definitely stay here again.

This house is a dream! We stayed almost a week with our two friendly labs and everyone had a great time. The home is extremely well-appointed, with lots of fluffy towels, bath robes, comfy pillows, and nice linens. The locations is just right - a beautiful, quiet historic neighborhood (be sure to stroll down 3rd avenue for the most gorgous old houses) - and an easy 10-minute walk from downtown. The yard was perfect for outdoor eating and dogs to run around. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

Highland sage was the perfect home for our family of 4. It was centrally located with easy, quick walks to downtown shops and restaurants! Upon checkin, we met Eddie who was cleaning the adjacent unit. He gave EXCELLENT recommendations for restaurants. The home was exceptionally clean and very well stocked for all of our needs. Victoria was a wonderful host and we will definitely be back!

The location of house was very convenient and walkable to restaurants and other entertainment. The host was easy to work with, and the home is well equipped to make staying comfortable and easy.

Check-in was easy, all directions were clear, a problem with Wi-Fi password was quickly addressed. The kitchen was like being at home, everything essential, plus more was provided. The big backyard was enjoyed by our dogs and ourselves. There is easy access to any number of bike trails and hiking trails and to the public recreation facility nearby.

Arrived at the house in the evening and upon entering, found it very clean and very cozy. Victoria was an excellent hostess. She made sure everything was good and the communication was excellent. She gave us places to visit restaurants to eat at which was very helpful. We had the backyard all to ourselves and my daughter enjoyed it every single evening sitting out with her computer until late just like she does at home. The beds were the most comfortable beds I have slept in. When renting the property, my only concern was that they allowed dogs, but you would never have known there had been a dog in the house. It was very, very clean and odor free. I would highly recommend renting this house, very close to downtown. We took the train to Silverton and we took the train back. We would recommend doing the Train one way and doing the bus back two totally different beautiful views. We felt there wasn’t a lot of time in Silverton so we went back the next day driving into the mountains. The Aspens were in full color absolutely gorgeous. Thank you, Victoria. You made our stay wonderful.

Location was perfect and we loved having a yard for our pups to play in. Only suggestion would be a different couch for the living room. It was too small for three people so someone always had to find a chair or sit on the ground. Otherwise the place was perfect. Loved the location and how it was walking distance to downtown for shopping and food.

This is a great location in Durango and the host (Victoria) is so helpful and sweet. The layout of the unit is a little tight in the kitchen but the backyard was great for our two dogs and we managed just fine. The street is quiet, the neighbors kind, also a very walkable location to local restaurants/shops. Definitely recommend staying here or in any other of Victoria’s rental properties.

This house was INCREDIBLE! Not only location but Victoria was awesome!The house had everything we needed and more. The backyard was a favorite for our dog Jackson and the location was a short walk to downtown, one of our favorite places. I would recommend it to everyone and we will be back. I can't say enough good about it!!!!

We’ve been coming to Durango for nearly 20 years for both work and vacation. We chose Victoria’s place for this trip because we were traveling with our granddaughter and our dog, and our usual accommodations weren’t the right fit.This home exceeded our expectations. Its location is fantastic—just about a 10-minute walk to Main Avenue with all the restaurants, shops, and downtown activities. For our pup, the fully enclosed backyard was a huge bonus. It’s spacious enough to play fetch and gave us complete peace of mind.Victoria has truly thought of everything. There are hooks, storage, and thoughtful organizational touches exactly where you need them. I’m especially particular about having places to tuck things away and keep the living spaces uncluttered, and this home delivered. The laundry/mudroom was an unexpected highlight. It easily held all of our gear, wagon, towels, shoes, and outdoor equipment after our busy days exploring.The evaporative cooler kept the house comfortable even on the warmer afternoons. There are plenty of fans, extra bedding, plush towels, and beautiful natural light throughout the home thanks to windows in every room.It’s clear this home has been thoughtfully prepared for guests. We never found ourselves wishing for anything—it was comfortable, well-equipped, and made for a wonderful stay. We look forward to returning for a future stay.

This home is cozy and comfortable with a tremendous backyard. We slept great and spent most of our waking hours in the backyard, reading, while our little dog ran around. Everything in the home is modern and clean. The appliances all work great and we never ran out of hot water. The yard is well-maintained and free of weeds. The parking area is private, located at the back of the house, just outside the back gate. Trash and recycling bins are easily accessible and bear resistant. The area is pedestrian and pet friendly with shops and restaurants less than a 10-minute walk from the home. Everyone is polite and friendly.The owner is wonderful and quickly answers texts or emails. We plan to make this our frequent vacation destination.

Loved the location of the property. It was easy walking distance to downtown main street or the Skysteps. The host was great she stayed in touch making sure everything was good for us. The home was clean and comfortable with a wonderful backyard to enjoy a cookout. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Durango

Adorable house in great location

The house is very cute with a great backyard and super-easy walking distance to Main Ave and an in-town hiking trail. House is very clean, kitchen has lots of shelves, and the whole house very pleasant with nice amenities. Definitely our go-to place for future trips to Durango.
