This is a great property with a good pool to relax in after a day at the beach. Easy access to Gillam, Bita and Ocean beaches via golf cart. Great AC in the house with a mini split in each bedroom and living areas which is a huge plus. House also on a generator if the island loses power which just helps keep you cool. Add to it an ice maker in the kitchen definitely helps when loading a cooler for the beach. Definitely recommend this property if coming to the island as it’s convenient to everything and just a great all around stay.

Our host was incredibly helpful, the house had all kitchen equipment that you could want and need. It was a wonderful family vacation and a beautiful spot.

Excellent place for a large group. We had four families with six kids, and there was plenty of room. Icemaker in the kitchen was a huge plus. Would highly recommend and rent again.

Bella Mare is a perfect house for groups of 8 and more. Amenities offers all you need for a perfect stay. The Kitchen and the outdoor grill are amazingly staffed and performant. I was in several villas in Green Turtle and can highly recommend Bella Mare for groups of 8 to 12 people.

Incredible time in a very special place. The owner and manager of the property were amazing and the most accommodating. Would give more stars but five is all they would let us.

We reserved Belle Mare for a family vacation with kids, grandkids and close friends - 12 people total with 4 children 5 y.o. or under. We had a wonderful time. The property is well cared for and the layout (rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and lower level with single beds and a double bed and bath, and a second TV room) great for several families to enjoy. Lots of room. The kitchen is well equipped. And the house is right on the beach with a gorgeous ocean view and screened in porch. There is a nice pool with pool toys that are excellent for small children. Make sure to bring your own life jackets for kids and adults who cannot swim. The property has 2 kayaks that we used a lot in front of the house and down to Bita Bay. Also bring lots of reef safe sunscreen. Gillam Bay has a large, beautiful beach with gradual depth, great for young kids and good swimmers alike. Cocoa bay is also beautiful. It is shallow and has a turtle, stingray refuge. Bita Bay gets deep quickly and the ocean is rougher - great snorkeling and good for adult swims. Walk to Bita Bay north past rocks for nice sand and swimming or go south (right) past rocks for white sand and really nice adult ocean swimming. This is our second time at Bella Mare and 6th trip to GTC.

Host was extremely responsive. House is beautiful - just like in the pictures online. Plenty of room for all of us and extremely comfortable beds. House was less than 10 mins away by golf cart to New Plymouth where there are restaurants and groceries. We were also super close to many beaches. Would recommend staying here!

This was one of our favorite stays in the bahamas. The view is amazing. Everything is provided to prepare meals and just spend time sitting on the screened porch relaxing! Great place!

We had an amazing time on GTC. Bella Mare was a perfect house for my family of 10! It literally had everything you could need. The location and view was amazing! I would recommend this property!

Rodney, Kari and Dawn are absolutely wonderful hosts. At least on of them was in communication with me everyday, making sure everything was good at the house and informing us with dinners and activities happening on the island. The house and amenities are over the top. My family has been coming to GTC for over 25 years, best house, best host ever! We are planning our next trip, and it will be based on availability of Bella Mare!

Best House on Green Turtle!

WOW! We could not have found a better place to stay on the island! For most of our group, it was our third time coming to Green Turtle and this house blew us away! The communication, location, amenities, and view were all exceptional! We can’t wait to come back!

Bella Mare is paradise!

This was our 2nd time staying at Bella Mare, the first time since the hurricane. The new house is amazing. The house is beautiful and the layout is great for a large group of people. The open floor plan allows for great conversation. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here once before over 10 years ago. We enjoyed it then & were doubly pleased this time with all the improvements. Its in a great location, caretakers & owners were easy to communicate with & the rooms are good sized & comfortable.

Location and view was amazing! House so well appointed to make it feel like home. Boys caught fish and cooked all week! Dawn helped us find clothes for my DIL who left a bag at home! Hope to return again soon! Thank you!

Home Away From Home

This is our new favorite place to stay in this area of the Bahamas—this is our second (and not last) time staying here. Rodney and Kari are always wonderful, as well as Dawn who takes care of the home. It's our Bahama home away from home!

Beautiful property and perfect location

Loved our stay at Bella Mare! From coffee grinders to margarita makers, they've covered everything from morning to night. You'll want for nothing when you stay here. Communication with the hosts was great, and the on-site managers were an amazing help with everything. Highly recommend!
