We do have a larger cottage next door that has a dedicated washer/dryer that may be a better fit for your family if you vacation at Yorktown Cottages again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Yorktown Cottage. Everything was exactly as described. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants and a trolley stop across the street was so convenient. The house was clean, decorated beautifully and nice and organized. We would return here in a heartbeat!

This was a gold star property! The house was spotless and stocked with everything I needed and then some. The safe location was perfect for walking to the Riverwalk area, visiting the American Revolution Museum, plantation visits and the Yorktown historical sites. The check in process was seamless due to the timely communications from both Jim and Christie. Thank you!The owners clearly state in the description that a grocery and other retail stores require a short drive so renters should pay attention to that. Also, if your plans include a visit to Colonial Williamsburg, be prepared for a 20-25 minute drive. While not a deal breaker for rating this as an EXCELLENT property, I would rate the pricing higher than average for the area.

This property was so lovely. The photos on VRBO do not do it justice. It felt so comfortable and just like home. There is plenty of all the creature comforts.It's also so close to Water Street and all the festivities, like market days on Saturday morning. You can catch the trolley in front of the cottage. It runs through main street down to the coastline. My husband and I will be back in June when our granddaughter graduates HS. Thank you for your hospitality.

Extremely convenient location to all of Yorktown area. Clean and cozy. The layout will not work for everyone’s needs, but it was just fine for my family of four.

Excellent cottage! It has everything, well decorated, comfortable, location and quiet.Hosts were great and answered quickly if there were questions as well they checked everything was ok after arriving.Comfortable bed, kitchen has everything needed, outlets for charging and this place is just great. Walking distance to many places too as well a good location if visiting Jamestown-Williamsburg.

The cleanliness and the location are wonderful. Host was responsive and answered any questions we had. We loved the fact they had an adorable Christmas tree in the living room! The TV was the only issue we had but we were not there very much so it didn’t matter that much. We will stay there again on our next trip.

Charming cottage, perfect location, excellent hosts, and sparkling CLEAN! Truly spotless! The kitchenette is well-stocked and the living areas are spacious and cozy. Having a full and half bath was a life saver and the two twin beds were cozy and comfortable. We will absolutely book this historic charmer again.
